The Ferretti Yachts 940 immediately impresses with its sense of space, proportion, and design acumen, offering a sub-100ft yacht that feels far larger than its dimensions suggest.

At 28.97m overall with a 6.76m beam – just 5cm slimmer than the flagship 1000 – this is Ferretti Yachts’ second-biggest model in its Flybridge range and demonstrates how clever design can redefine expectations for yachts under 30m.

Every element has been designed to maximise space for guests, ensuring that luxury, light and functionality are experienced throughout the vessel.

The collaboration behind the 940 is as considered as the yacht itself. Exterior styling by Filippo Salvetti and interiors by IdeaeItalia harmonise with Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee, chaired by Piero Ferrari, and the company’s Engineering Department.

The master suite starts with an entrance lobby and two steps down to a large walk-in wardrobe before the entrance to the main bedroom, a spectacular area with a forward-facing double, long windows on both sides and elegant design throughout.

In the bow, the en-suite bathroom mirrors the cabin’s generous proportions, offering a spacious shower and smoked-glass partitions that separate function from visual openness. The sense of calm here is deliberate; it’s a space that invites lingering, a full-width retreat rarely found on yachts of this length.

The Ferretti Yachts 940 is offered with two MAN V12 engine options. Twin 2,000hp units achieve a top speed of 25 knots and a cruising speed of 21, while the 2,200hp V12X engines can power the yacht to 27 knots with a 23-knot cruise speed.
