The 134m Deep Blue made its way to the Mediterranean from the UK this week, after stopping in Poole following its departure from the Lürssen facility in Lemwerder, Germany.
Although ownership of the superyacht is yet to be publicly confirmed, it has been widely linked to Richard Liu by industry sources. Liu, founder of JD.com, was in the news in February for launching the Sea Expandary boatbuilding brand in China.
Launched in June 2025, the steel-hulled Deep Blue is a 9,000GT superyacht with a blue aluminium superstructure, a forward helipad, two swimming pools and eight MTU engines. She is reported to accommodate up to 24 guests and 45 crew.
