Sunreef to debut Ultima 88 at Cannes

The Yacht Style Issue 89 cover star will be among a strong Sunreef line-up of power and sailing catamarans at Cannes Yachting Festival 2026.
Sunreef Yachts has announced that it will stage the world premiere of the Ultima 88 – the cover star of Yacht Style Issue 89 – at the 49th Cannes Yachting Festival from September 8-13. The 93ft flybridge powercat will be part of the shipyard’s formidable display in the Vieux Port (Old Port), where the newcomer will appear alongside the 100 Sunreef Power flagship and 80 Sunreef Power.
Carlos Alcaraz, the 23-year-old tennis superstar and winner of seven Grand Slam titles, is among about 30 clients who have ordered the Ultima 88, which is among multiple Ultima models in production at Sunreef’s Ras Al Khaimah shipyard in the UAE.
The powercat can be fitted with two 1,000hp engines that give a top speed of 26 knots and a fast cruising speed of 16 knots, while a sizeable 6,000-litre fuel capacity ensures significant range.
The Ultima 88 has a sleek design, with a beam of just over 30ft. Its notable exterior features include an aft Ocean Lounge, which features drop-down aft bulwarks, a full-beam hydraulic platform and a central garage flanked by integrated sunpads.
Interior highlights include a full-beam master suite forward on the lower deck. Available in multiple layouts, the owner’s cabin includes an en-suite bathroom in ‘magic glass’ that can transform from transparent to solid white when privacy is required.
Unlike the UAE-built Ultima 88, the 100 Sunreef Power and 80 Sunreef Power are among powercat models produced at Sunreef’s Gdansk shipyard on Poland’s north coast. The shipyard’s provisional display at the Cannes show also includes three sailing catamarans built in Gdansk, the Sunreef 60, 70 and 80, which will be exhibit at Port Canto, east of the Vieux Port.
