SAY 42 Sport making France debut in Cannes

Germany’s SAY Carbon Yachts is showcasing its new 42 Sport and flagship 52 at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival.

SAY Carbon Yachts – represented in Asia by Primus Marine – will stage the France premiere of the SAY 42 Sport at the 49th Cannes Yachting Festival from September 8-13, 2026.
Unveiled at this year’s Boot Düsseldorf indoor show in Germany in January, the 42ft 6in, 5-tonne carbon-fibre cruiser will make its Côte d’Azur debut alongside the flagship SAY 52 at stand QSP168. Based in the Quai Saint Pierre part of Vieux Port, both yachts will be available for sea trials throughout the festival by appointment only.

The SAY 42 Sport is the second iteration of the SAY 42 – which has a T-top – and is the builder’s first model with a full-height windscreen.
Built on the same ultra-lightweight carbon-fibre hull and propulsion platform, the SAY 42 Sport adds a more extensive hardtop integrated with the windscreen, a fully equipped galley and a spacious deck layout. Offering up to 860hp through twin Volvo Penta V8 engines, it retains the speed, agility and precision handling of the SAY 42.
SAY 52
The SAY 52, which had its world premiere at the 2025 Palma International Boat Show in Spain, has an overall length of 52ft 4in and weighs just 7.5 tonnes, delivering speeds of up to 45 knots.
SAY Carbon Yachts’ presence at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival follows a milestone year for the brand and its growing portfolio. This summer, the company opened its new European hub and Experience Lounge in Puerto Portals, Mallorca, creating a permanent Mediterranean home for the brand and bringing SAY closer to its growing community of owners, partners and prospective clients.
