Fountaine Pajot developing FP51 Fly

SHARE

Complementing the original FP51 Lounge Deck and set to debut in 2027, the FP51 Fly features a central helm and optional flybridge hardtop.

Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans is developing the FP51 Fly, which is scheduled to debut at the 2027 Fountaine Pajot Open Days in La Rochelle before being showcased at major international boat shows throughout the autumn.

Developed in response to feedback from owners and the brand’s international dealer network, the FP51 Fly features a reconfigured flybridge with an optional hardtop. The original FP51 with an open flybridge has been renamed as the FP51 Lounge Deck.

The FP51 Fly is the brand’s smallest sailing catamaran to offer a flybridge hardtop, which also features on the FP55 that debuted at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival. The FP51 Fly also features a central helm station forward, like on the FP55, while an electric genoa furler comes as standard, making sail handling even easier.

The FP51 Fly’s central helm differs from the FP51 Lounge Deck, which has a covered helm to starboard, matching the design of the FP48 that premiered in 2026, as well as the FP41 and FP44 that debuted in 2025.

The FP51 Fly’s socialising area on the flybridge includes a C-shaped sofa and a table to port, opposite an L-shaped sofa to starboard. The flybridge is accessible by a staircase from the port side deck, as well as starboard steps that begin by the sliding saloon doors.

The FP51 Fly retains the interior layout and cabin configurations of the FP51 Lounge Deck, including the choice of four, five or six guest cabins. Other highlights include a built-in 253-litre refrigerator, a new instrument display mount, and adjustments to the saloon layout from the former Aura 51.

Like other Fountaine Pajot models, the FP51 Fly will be available with ODSea+ as an option, continuing the integration of the brand’s energy solutions.

Represented by Asia Yachting in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Philippines, Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans (FP41-FP55) is among brands within the Fountaine Pajot Group, along with Fountaine Pajot Yachts (power and sail catamarans from FP59-FP120) and Dufour sailing monohulls.
