The third X Class model includes drop-down cockpit sides and a forward master suite with an optional gullwing door.
Following the world premiere of the X90 at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, Princess Yachts staged the the model’s Americas debut at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which concluded on Sunday.
Positioned between the X80 and X95 Vista, the 91-tonne enclosed-flybridge motoryacht has an overall length of 27.11m (88ft 11in), a beam of 6.62m (21ft 8in) and a draft of 1.71m (5ft 8in).
Featuring the shipyard’s new Hybrid Progressive-Planing (HPP) hull developed with Olesinski, the X90 is offered with a choice of two 1,900mhp, 2,000mhp or 2,200mhp MAN engines, which produce top speeds ranging from 22-27 knots.
In terms of design, the yacht adheres to the ‘Super Flybridge’ concept of the X Class, with an enclosed flybridge including a skylounge and a wheelhouse fronted by a forward-raked windscreen, overlooking wraparound seating.

The aft end of the flybridge can include an outdoor dining area covered by the rooftop overhang as well as a clear area for seating and lounging, while options include a spa bath, bar, loose furniture or tender storage. Both the forward and aft ends of the flybridge can be covered by removable awnings.
On the main deck, fold-down terraces to port and starboard can expand the cockpit, which can include a spa pool. It’s just three steps down to the high-low swim platform, which can carry and deploy a tender, and offer guests direct access to the sea.
In a first for Princess, curved patio doors provide access from the cockpit to an indoor dining area that leads forward to the main saloon, day head, galley and full-beam master suite. The master suite has a forward-raked windscreen, aligning with the pilothouse design.
An optional gullwing door on the starboard side of the master suite provides direct access to the bow, which can be a private terrace for the owners, although the area can also be accessed by steps from the forward flybridge.
The lower deck includes a full-beam VIP suite and two guest cabins as standard, or four similar-sized guest cabins, plus crew quarters forward.
Will Green, Princess Yachts’ CEO, said: “The X90 builds on the success of our X Class with exceptional interior volume, innovative design and impressive long-range cruising capabilities.”
