After expanding the scope of its Fountaine Pajot representation, Asia Yachting sold an FP44 in Phuket, where it staged the model’s Southeast Asia premiere.
Asia Yachting has sold a Fountaine Pajot FP44 sailing catamaran in Phuket and staged the model’s Thailand premiere at Royal Phuket Marina. The FP44 was one of two sailing catamarans that Fountaine Pajot debuted in 2025, and the catamaran in Phuket is the model’s first unit in Southeast Asia.
In September, the regional dealer announced that its representation of Fountaine Pajot expanded from Hong Kong and the Philippines to also include Thailand and Singapore. The dealership later announced the sale of the FP44, staging a handover ceremony (pictured above and below).
Nadezhda Lutsenko, Senior Broker at Asia Yachting, represented the regional dealership during the sale to a Phuket-based client.
“I’m thrilled to have helped make this sale happen and to welcome the new owner to the Fountaine Pajot family,” Lutsenko said. “The FP44’s arrival marks an exciting new chapter for sailing in Southeast Asia.”
In late October, the dealership hosted the model’s Thailand premiere. Throughout the two-day premiere, visitors had the opportunity to step aboard and explore the FP44 at their own pace, with the private-viewing format offering a relaxed setting to appreciate the yacht’s design and layout up close.
The Asia Yachting team met guests, discussed their boating plans, and held conversations about the possibilities of sailing with Fountaine Pajot.
Lutsenko added: “It was a pleasure to welcome guests aboard the FP44 in Phuket and see their excitement as they explored the yacht. Their questions and conversations made the premiere especially memorable.”
The FP44 in Phuket features the Maestro layout, which dedicates one hull to an exclusive owner’s suite featuring a private sleeping area, work desk, extensive dressing room and large en-suite bathroom.
Equipped for Southeast Asian cruising, the FP44 features a 48K BTU air-conditioning system supported by 2,000W of integrated solar panels, a 9kW generator and upgraded battery storage. This setup is designed to provide comfort at anchor while supporting greater independence from shore power.
The yacht features upgraded twin 57hp Yanmar engines and Garmin navigation equipment. For outdoor entertaining, the aft deck includes a gas barbecue and cold storage, plus an electric swim platform.
