Oceanwalker’s big plans for S60 powercat

A familiar presence at major boat shows across Asia, the Middle East and the US, the Oceanwalker S60 continues to front a brand building both twin-hull and monohull motoryachts.
Oceanwalker stated it’s already building the 19th hull of its globally popular S60 power catamaran and hopes to build another 50-60 units over the next five years at the Fujian Skywalker shipyard in China’s southeastern Fujian province, neighbouring Guangdong. Located in the township of Longjiao in the Longhai District of Zhangzhou, neighbouring Xiamen, the coastal shipyard has over 220 employees
Founded by Jason Jiang Zuguang in late 2022, the builder has focused on production of the S60, but is also building the X53 and X62 monohull flybridge motoryachts while also developing plans for S50 and S80 powercats.
However, the S60 – which has a top speed of 18 knots with twin 440hp Volvo Penta D6 DPI engines – has been the key to Oceanwalker securing strong representation in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, US and Europe.
Sky Walker Yachts, a charter-focused boating company based in the UAE, was appointed in March 2023 and took delivery of the first S60. The powercat exhibited at the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show in 2023 and 2024, as well as the Dubai International Boat Show in 2024.
Revolution Marine Group, whose new yachts portfolio also includes CL Yachts motoryachts and Heritage powercats from Italy’s Canados, was appointed as Oceanwalker’s US and Europe dealer in 2024.
The S60 was shown at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in late 2025 and this year’s Palm Beach International Boat Show. Revolution Marine Group is also collaborating with Oceanwalker on the solar-electric S60e, equipped with twin 200hp (150kW) electric motors.
Last year, Oceanwalker appointed Fantasea Ocean as its representative in Singapore and Indonesia, with the S60 exhibited at the Singapore Yachting Festival at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove in 2025 and this April. In December 2025, the S60 made its Hong Kong International Boat Show debut at Club Marina Cove.
“The company’s founders believed most powercats on the market still had room for improvement in terms of onboard comfort and interior space utilisation, so design comfort and generous indoor living space became the core DNA of the Oceanwalker brand,” said Sales Director Henry Hou.
“The S60 exemplifies this vision. Its interior layout is carefully tailored to meet the needs of both family and business outings, offering significantly more living and activity space than competing models in its class.”
