Greenline Yachts is putting sustainability front and centre at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival (September 10-15) as it showcases its hyper-efficient new Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid. Featuring Greenline’s next-generation hybrid H-Drive propulsion, the builder’s flagship demonstrates that enormous comfort and responsible yachting can co-exist.

Slovenia’s Greenline Yachts has been spearheading the transition to hybrid propulsion for more than 15 years, so it has had time to hone the performance of its drivetrain. The latest iteration is the 6G unit.

It allows the Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid to offer an impressive range of 20 nautical miles in silent electric mode with speeds up to 6 knots. Across the typical use cycle of a Greenline yacht, the hybrid system delivers a cut in emissions of up to 40 per cent annually.

The Greenline 58 Fly’s solar roof can power the yacht silently and indefinitely at anchor

Greenline Yachts’ solar roof concept puts a 4kW solar array to work at the service of the Greenline 58 Fly’s hotel services. Although it can increase the yacht’s range a little, its main benefit is to enable long days and nights at anchor without needing to fire up a noisy generator. Due to the solar and battery capacities on board, it gives an impressive three days at anchor without the generator. That extends indefinitely if the aircon is not required.

“Greenline Yachts’ new 6G H-Drive draws on 16 years of constant development,” said owner and MD Vladimir Zinchenko. “We’ve been in this game since our launch, so our yachts are miles ahead of the competition when it comes to efficient hybrid propulsion and silent hôtellerie.

The 58 Fly Hybrid’s spacious interior

“We’re excited to be showcasing the technology alongside our concept of Responsible Yachting at Cannes through our flagship model: the Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid.”

Class-leading range on show

Alongside the Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid, Greenline Yachts will also be showing two of its best-selling models – the Greenline 48 Coupe and the Greenline 45 Fly – on the stand in Cannes’ iconic Vieux Port.

Both hugely successful models have sold more than 100 units, and they illustrate Greenline’s two superstructure options: the sleek Coupe variant and the luxurious Fly. Both are available with a range of engine options that include Yanmar’s new HVO-ready diesel line.

This allows the two yachts to burn more sustainable HVO fuel, derived from waste vegetable oil, that is being rolled out across marine hotspots and offers the possibility of radically reducing carbon emissions at no cost to performance.

Responsible Yachting extends to Greenline’s construction process as well. The high-tech foam sandwich used to strengthen the hull comes from recycled PET plastic. The yard’s technicians are also experimenting with natural fibres and green resins in the structure of the yachts.

Nautor Swan will premiere the Swan 88 at the Cannes Yachting Festival

Nautor Swan will showcase its latest launches at the major September boat shows, featuring the much-anticipated worldwide premieres of the Swan 88 and Swan Arrow.

At the Cannes Yachting Festival (Sept 10-15), Nautor Swan will present a line-up of five yachts, including the world premieres of the Swan 88 and ClubSwan 43 in Port Canto and Swan Arrow in Port Vieux.

In Port Canto, the electric Swan 88 powered by Torqeedo’s fully integrated Deep Blue system represents an evolution of the brand’s previous yachts, incorporating new innovations. The elegant design is a collaboration of German Frers, Misa Poggi and Lucio Micheletti that offers a superyacht experience on an efficient and easy-to-maintain platform.

The ClubSwan 43 is a sporty cruiser that will debut in Cannes

A crossover designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian, the ClubSwan 43, with interior design by Micheletti + Partners is a highly capable racer, that allows a sporty-cruising experience. Nautor will also present the Swan 55 and 58 which are for family cruising and long-distance sailing.

In Vieux- Port, Swan Arrow will make her international debut and is the largest model of the Nautor Swan motoryacht ranges at 75ft / 23m, with a ‘walkaround’ design offering the features of a superyacht packaged in a smaller size.

The 23m Swan Arrow features side openings to create a spacious terrace

The hull was conceived to offer performance with a sustainable approach in terms of fuel consumption. One of Swan Arrow’s main innovations is the opening platform to create a beach area of about 50sqm that does not float directly on the water, but is raised higher thanks to powered side openings to create a spacious terrace just above the sea.

Swan Arrow will be accompanied by Swan Shadow, the first ever motoryacht launched by Nautor, designed by Jarkko Jamsen.

The Swan 48MKII will be at the Southampton International Boat Show

On display at the Southampton International Boat Show (Sept 13-22) – Britain’s biggest boating festival – will be the Swan 48MKII, the latest evolution of the Swan 48 series.

Nautor Swan will then exhibit the Swan 88 at the prestigious Monaco Yacht Show (25-28) to an international audience of yachting enthusiasts and industry professionals.

Alia Yachts’ Sea Club 53 launched recently in Turkey and is undergoing sea trials

Turkish builder Alia Yachts’ latest full-custom masterpiece, the Sea Club 53, was conceived as the ultimate toy-and-tender-carrying superyacht. This 53m beast was launched recently by Synchro Lift in Antalya, Turkey. Final outfitting and sea trials lie ahead, before a delivery slated for August.

When finally released into the wild, the Sea Club 53 will become one of the most capable and flexible superyachts in the sub-500GT size range. It will be home to a helicopter, a submersible, a 13m tender, 8m crew tender, two sailing catamarans, two dinghies, two Waverunners and a host of other watersports equipment, dive gear and toys. Not only that, her accommodation runs to a luxurious master cabin and two guest cabins, plus a dedicated relaxation area.

At 53m, this superyacht has plenty of room for a helicopter pad and water toys

“The Sea Club 53 showcases the very best of our capabilities here at Alia Yachts,” said President Gökhan Çelik. “We’re thrilled to see her in the water, demonstrating her full potential for operating in great comfort at speeds up to 15 knots.

“It is a testament to our expert technical, engineering and boatbuilding teams here at Alia, as well as the close collaboration we have enjoyed with Azure Yacht Design for the exterior design and layout development, and with Diana Yacht Design for the naval architecture underpinning the hull.

“The Sea Club 53 has been an ambitiously rapid build. Thanks to an excellent relationship with the owner’s team at Technical Marine UK (TMUK) and quick thinking at our end, we have brought the project from dream to floating reality in a little over two years.”

The yacht was built entirely in-house for an owner who wanted all the fun of a chaseboat combined with the scale, finish and styling of a superyacht. The Sea Club 53 is a sophisticated platform for watersports, undersea exploration, and helicopter operations. In addition to the top-notch overnight accommodation for guests, the huge exterior deck areas are ideal for parties and social gatherings.

The hull, superstructure and heli deck were built separately before being joined together

Constructed in three separate parts comprising the hull, superstructure and the heli deck that were joined late in 2022. The heli deck is fully certified up to H-145 and there is 50sqm of toy storage space on the lower deck, alongside a dedicated water sports centre. There are also more than 20 modular water park elements, allowing the crew to create a complex new floating feature every day.

“The launch of project Sea Club marks the start of a whole new concept in the yachting industry,” said Onne Logger of Azure Yacht Design. “A unique combination of luxurious guest accommodation, enormous storage for tenders and toys, and an unparalleled number of entertainment possibilities.

“The owner’s goal was to fit the storage and the entertainment amenities which would be usually found on an 80m-plus vessel, while keeping the rich and elegant look of a superyacht.”

The Sea Club 53 is the result of strong collaboration between the owner and his captain, Alia Yachts and the designers (Azure Yacht Design), the naval architects (Diana Yacht Design), and the owner’s representative (TMUK).

Beneteau’s new Swift Trawler 54 by Andreani Design is a stylish and innovative home on the water for the whole family.

Beneteau’s new Swift Trawler 54 will premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September

Celebrating 140 years of world-leading expertise and innovation in yacht-building with this new addition to the successful Swift Trawler range, Beneteau’s latest family motor cruiser offers style, comfort and autonomy for demanding boaters. Tailor-made for social voyaging, the new Swift Trawler 54 combines contemporary design, elegant finishes and smart design throughout to create the perfect home on the water.

Embodying Beneteau expertise

The attractive, efficient 54ft passagemaker fits sublimely into the well-known Swift Trawler family, which has seen 1,800 boats hit the water since 2003, ranging from 35ft up to 62ft across five models.

Beneteau worked with Andreani Design to carefully craft the ideal family home on the water so that boaters of all ages can enjoy economic and efficient long-range cruising in heightened elegance and ultimate comfort.

“Innovation has been the driving force at Beneteau for 140 years. To celebrate this milestone, we challenged our team to create a standout passagemaker to join our Swift Trawler family that marries the best innovations with remarkable style. The result is spectacular,” said Beneteau brand manager Jean-François Lair.

“The Swift Trawler 54 brings to life our vision of ‘rediscover the journey’, where you enjoy the journey as much as the destination. She is practical and reliable, beautiful and cutting-edge; in essence, everything our customers expect from a Beneteau.”

Accessible, spacious and home-inspired

The exterior features of the boat include the stunning “Terrace to the Sea cockpit” concept, as well as a spacious flybridge with soft seating and luxury touches. The design prioritises safe and easy circulation between the helm, galley side doors and the panoramic wheelhouse windows.

The exterior features include the stunning “Terrace to the Sea” cockpit concept

“We wanted to create an eye-catching cruiser that gives families plentiful stowage and home comforts for weeks onboard,” said Beneteau product manager Robert Chaffer. “Every aspect of the interior and exterior of this boat has been carefully crafted to maximise the pleasure of cruising alongside a cosy, refined finish.

“At the same time we wanted to push boundaries, explore new horizons and integrate revolutionary solutions into the final product. We are incredibly proud of the result and we can’t wait to see the feedback from customers.”

The Swift Trawler 54 stern, with a hydraulic swim deck, has plenty of space to store water toys

The stern boasts a 400kg tender lift, ample storage for kayaks and paddleboards and a hydraulic swim platform with adaptive dinghy chocks. On the foredeck, the U-shaped seating area with an inset table easily converts into a huge sunpad, with dedicated fender stowage underneath.

An upgraded luxury finish comes as standard using premium materials. This includes illuminated wood panels and exceptional main deck glazing with all-around glass, creating an open space that feels elegant and sophisticated while also remaining warm, social and functional. The visually stunning interior environment boasts an ergonomic and well-appointed galley with a raised passagemaker dinette, a large saloon and an “architectural” flybridge stair.

The layout is perfect for long family voyages

Built with six berths, with the option for an additional single crew berth, the layout is perfect for long family cruises. The bathrooms feature Corian countertops with illuminated recesses underneath for towel stowage. The separate shower cubicles feature Corian flooring with the addition of a rain shower in the ensuite of the full-beam aft owner cabin.

All of the cabins feature wardrobes with slatted doors to ensure good ventilation for clothing, as well as Berber-style carpets with luxury acoustic underlays and foam-backed panelling on bulkheads to reduce noise levels.

A smooth and safe journey

The Swift Trawler 54 brims with innovations and excels when cruising at 8-12 knots, but has the reserve power for up to 20 knots if required. Its two 550hp engines provide up to 700 nautical miles of cruising at 9 knots (with a 10 percent fuel reserve). Visibility, control, communication, convenience, and social dynamics, with the helmsman at heart, were central to the design process to create a safer, more enjoyable, and efficient boating experience.

Designed with the helmsman at heart, the Swift Trawler 54 offers great visibility and handling

The Dixon Yacht Design “Fusion” hull form ensures more efficient navigation, with reliable all-round handling and comfort. The latest Sleipner Vector Gen 3 fins with electric motors provide more stability and 360-degree control with “on anchor” mode, using 50 per cent less energy.

The “Silent Boat” option upgrades the boat with lithium batteries and solar panels, and delivers eight to 10 hours of on-anchor autonomy without the need to run the generator. The final innovations include a future-proof engine room for diesel-electric hybrid drive and a full Webasto climate system throughout the interior.

The new Beneteau Swift Trawler 54 will be premiered at the Cannes Boat Show in September.

BGH is a zero-emissions foiling chase boat in the 37th America’s Cup later this year

Italy’s first hydrogen refuelling for marine use – and one of the first in the world – recently took place on board the BGH, the zero-emissions chase boat that will fly on foils at 50 knots alongside two major teams during the 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona from August to October this year.

This breakthrough is the result of a partnership between NatPower H – the world’s leading developer for the production, storage and distribution of green hydrogen and part of the NatPower Group – and Bluegame, which is highly regarded for Italian excellence in boat building and a member of the Sanlorenzo Group.

NatPower H performs the 30-minute refuelling operation at Sanlorenzo’s shipyard in La Spezia, Italy

With this refuelling operation, this collaboration between Bluegame and NatPower H sees two highly innovative companies allied in developing a long-term strategy to support the energy transition in the boating sector. Their goal is to promote the use of hydrogen in leisure boating and revolutionise a sector committed to environmental sustainability and technological progress. This combination of skills will pave the way for entirely emissions-free boating in the future.

The refuelling of the BGH with green hydrogen – approved and supervised by the Port System Authority of the Eastern Ligurian Sea – was performed successfully at the Sanlorenzo shipyard in La Spezia at a pressure of approximately 180 bar. The 30-minute operation was carried out by NatPower H and officially kicks off a testing phase that culminates this month with a final refuelling at a pressure of 350 bar.

Using foils, the chase boat can reach speeds of around 50 knots

“The story of Bluegame is a story of courage. The courage to continue to dare – Memento audere semper (‘always remember to dare’), as Gabriele d’Annunzio would say,” said Bluegame CEO Carla Demaria.

From its origins with the creation of the first unconventional BG boat – which defied categorisation and created its own segment in the sector – to the recent technological challenge of designing and building to comply with the very demanding America’s Cup protocol, BGH is a hydrogen-powered chase boat that will fly on foils at 50 knots with zero emissions (apart from a few drops of water) alongside the American Magic and the French Orient Express Racing Team challengers in the 37th edition of the America’s Cup.

BGH represents the pinnacle of sustainability that is possible today, and the project is part of the ‘Road to 2030’ global sustainability strategy of the Sanlorenzo Group, a pioneer in the path towards carbon neutrality.

“The exclusive use of hydrogen as a propulsion system is a complete novelty not only for Bluegame and the Sanlorenzo Group but for the entire leisure boating sector: it is thus not an endpoint but a starting point,” Demaria added.

BGH represents the pinnacle of sustainability that is possible today

“The completion of the chase boat’s refuelling is an operation that revolutionises the Italian and international boating market, paving the way for new generations of zero CO2 emission boats,” said Andrea Minerdo, CEO of NatPower H.

The testing phase will culminate this month with a final refuelling at a pressure of 350 bar

“NatPower H has set out on this new route by creating the world’s first comprehensive infrastructure for hydrogen refuelling in leisure boating. This project also marks a new direction in the way we sail. By using hydrogen as a green fuel, we can redesign the boating industry to be more mindful of the beauty of the environment and responsible for the fragility of our marine ecosystem. The commitment and partnership between NatPower H and Bluegame represent the first significant step towards the green transition in the yacht and superyacht industry.”

Asiamarine, the Hong Kong-based luxury yacht distributor, brokerage and charter operator, welcomed excited boating enthusiasts to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Lagoon Catamarans and its appointment as the global brand’s official dealer with a luxurious launch party on June 21, 2024.

Around 100 guests gathered at the Aberdeen Marina Club to celebrate the milestone and new venture and were treated to a tour of one of Lagoon’s most spacious models, the 20.15m Lagoon Sixty 7. As guests roamed the elegantly staged boat, which was decked in a French country theme and decorated in blue and turquoise, the colours of the Lagoon brand, they were able take in wide-open, luxuriously-appointed spaces, from the generous lounge area.

CL Yachts unveils new flagship CLX99

SHARE

In the new flagship CLX99 are glimpses of a much-loved predecessor, but with revitalised exteriors, interiors and features this edition is a bold reimagination.

If the bold form and workboat-chic aesthetics of the CLX99 feel familiar, you have probably once, twice or more admired her earlier sibling, CL Yacht’s CLX96, a striking design that turned heads when it launched at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in 2022.

New flagship, the CLX99 sports a striking silhouette

A powerhouse combination that brought together the prolific product designer Jozeph Forakis’s vision for performance with an angular primary superstructure and strategic use of carbon fibre, the boat felt definitively different inside and out.

Many areas have been reimagined and extended, including the aft beach area and skylounge

Now Forakis, back on board and lending his unique point of view once again for the creation of the new flagship CLX99, appears to have taken the mould and reformed it.

Forakis, an award-winning designer whose pieces have been shown at New York’s MoMA, has retained a kind of core essence and ethos of the original onboard the CLX99, evident in its rugged good looks but while the first iteration was praised for its wide array of diverse spaces, this latest incarnation pushes the boundary with increasingly voluminous interiors and exteriors – and an overall length of 100 feet.

The designer prioritises light and 360-degree sea views in the sky lounge

“The hull is the same great hull as CLX96,” confirms Martin Lo, CL Yachts Director, but the superyacht displays a substantial difference in terms of naval architecture, layout and choice of materials, he says.

Among many refined features is a transformed skylounge aft of the forward-raked sunscreen, now extended an impressive three metres and featuring a same-level helm separated from the guest saloon. With a bulkhead crafted mostly from glass, guests are afforded good looks at the boat in operation, as well as 360-degree panoramic views that invite the outside in.

Calming styling features rounded edges and beach tones inspired by pebble-decked coastlines

An arch incorporated into the bulwark on the aft-sundeck extends the space and with a dedicated lounge settee that invites relaxation or provides additional space for entertaining.

Meanwhile, the aft end has also been given a new twist, with the water-level beach and swim platform now boasting large drop-down bulwarks that create generous sea terraces on either side.

“The drop-down bulwarks really enhance the aft terrace, while there is an option for a spa pool on the foredeck,” Forakis says.

The skydeck is designed with relaxation and gatherings in mind

Extending space inside was also key for the designer. The main deck has received a two-metre extension, which in turn led to a reorganisation of the interior space.

A generous dining room forward has a galley adjacent, with portside access for the crew, while a spacious relaxation area features an enlarged sofa that runs from this sanctuary to the dining area to the observation lounge.

A redesigned lower deck offers five staterooms on the standard version, which include a large, full-beam master suite, two VIP doubles forward, and two guest twin or double cabins, which are all en-suite.

The aft water-level beach and swim platform has received a crowd-pleasing update

It’s also possible to add a main deck master suite in place of the forward dining and observation lounge, (while retaining five suites on the lower deck) to allow up to 12 guests.

Natural coastlines were a starting point in the comfortable interior styling, which has resulted in sensual curves, circular shapes and smooth finishes that the designer says are reminiscent of pebbles. Outside, hull windows on the lower deck have been redesigned with clean, continuous lines.

Forakis’ angular stylings were informed by rugged workboat design that nodded to the CLX96’s ultimate seaworthiness and reliability, but real functional design thinking is evident in technical spaces like the engine room, which on the new 30.5m CLX99 is fitted with aft generators that makes maintenance on the engines more accessible.

Heralded product designer Jozeph Forakis has been given free rein on the CLX96 and CLX99

Five crew members can be accommodated in quarters located aft between the engine room and the aft bulkhead of the master, ensuring the CLX99 is suitable for fully-crewed charter trips.

If the CLX96’s unusual design was seen as a bit of a risk for CL Yachts on its release two years ago, then the new flagship CLX99, which continues the art of architecturally-refined disruptive design, is proof that the risk paid off.

Sweden-based Nimbus celebrated entering the explorer segment recently, with the arrival of its biggest flybridge to date, the Nimbus Flybridge 495. The voyager vessel touched water for the first time in an archipelago outside of Gothenburg this June.

Nimbus’ coupé models have been a favourite way to explore the Nordic region for more than 40 years, but as adventurous spirits grow and horizons broaden, so too do boat sizes. The new 15m flybridge is intended to provide passengers a floating home and an ideal vessel from which to explore further afield.

The Scandinavian shipyard notes seasons on the Mediterranean, the US East Coast or Alaska. To facilitate this, the 495 Flybridge’s expansive size prioritises social areas and free space. It provides mod-cons such as washing machine, dishwasher, and generator, plus an increased tank capability necessary for longer – and less stressed – voyages.

This vessel also makes long harbour stays enjoyable thanks to freshwater accessibility and emission-free propulsion.

Considerations for the deck layout were to create a space within which it felt safe and easy to manoeuvre with a minimum of crew even in variable conditions. Accordingly, the design centres on making the boat easy to move to shore, and for passengers to flow easily between foredeck to aft deck, cabin to bathing platform – with ample views of the surrounding areas no matter where they are positioned.

The boat has been built with a seamless connection between the saloon, the large aft deck and a robust bathing platform on the same level.

But it’s the salon that acts as the heart of the coupé boat, says Joacim Gustavsson, who is chief designer at Nimbus Group AB. “That’s where we live on board. That’s where we have the driver’s place, the dining area, the social lounge and the kitchen.”

Distinguished by its size – the 495 is the shipbuilder’s biggest flybridge to date – the boat establishes a new standard for the Nordic coupé and responds to the increasing numbers of sailors that wish to live out in nature for longer stretches of time.

Francesco Struglia’s design reinterprets the traditional features of iconic Benetti styling, and is  inspired by the Italian shipyard’s alluring navettas of the 1960s and ’70s, which were loved by royalty and rock stars alike.

The yacht’s silhouette is characterised by sharp lines and elegant, elongated forms. Distinctive exterior lines bring continuity between the hull and superstructure, feature bronze highlights and are connected by an angled piece of fibreglass, set from amidships to the aft, that defines the profile.

The boat boasts a design that is ‘tradition meets tomorrow’

Claudio Lazzarini and Carl Pickering fashioned interiors that replay the elegance of classic motoryachts through a modern lens, creating a boat that feels like a boat, rather than an apartment at sea and is rich in nautical themes and motifs.

Warm woods and rounded edges are both modern and comforting

Light woods, white leather and neutral-coloured soft furnishings highlight the yacht’s architectural lines, and portlight-shaped lighting fixtures and a white-leather-clad mast feature in the central staircase add to the feeling of nautical heritage. In the saloon, Pickering has added white lacquered beams to wood ceilings, and wooden beams on white ceilings to evoke the feeling of standing inside the belly of a whale.

Materials are light and luxurious. Warming Alpi teak adorns walls and floors, Tuscan Calacatta marble is used on the main deck and Italian Antartide pink marble below, with fabrics provided by Lora Piana Interiors.

The yacht can accommodate up to 10 guests across five cabins, with additional space for up to seven crew members in a layout that includes a large main deck owner’s suite forward and four guest suites on the lower deck, all featuring double beds.

A selective catalyst reduction system (to reduce nitrogen oxide in exhaust fumes and purify exhaust gases) is integrated to meet IMO Tier III regulations, and the yacht also has a double-capacity desalination plant so that she can spend extended periods anchored offshore.

M/Y Legend is powered by two MAN V12 engines and can reach speeds of up to 17 knots.

Boats use earth-friendly solar panels and hydrogen-based tech without sacrificing performance

Hydrogen appears to be a favoured choice among the participating teams, with hybrid hydrogen-based technologies fueling 10 projects, and 11 running on fully Lithium-Ion batteries.

Eighteen teams will compete in the energy class, putting on show some intriguing new innovations. From Institut Polytechnique de Paris (ENSTA) comes a three-engine project inspired by differential propulsion, while Britain’s Cambridge University Riviera Racing will showcase their hydrogen-powered foiling catamaran. This year’s competition is the first time foils have been permitted to be added.

Spain’s Universidade de Vigo will debut a unique hull design in the solar class with lines similar to a catamaran that should allow the boat to reach impressive speeds.

Sialia Yachts’ Deep Silence, one of the largest full-electric propulsion boats available on the market, will appear in the Open Seas category for boats already in the market, or about to launch, alongside hydrogen-powered boats, Madblue Marine P-01 and Inocel-Poséidon, which will be supplied with hydrogen on July 5 by Natpower.

A new electric, high-performance day boat, the Tridente, developed in collaboration with marine technology company Vita, who are long-term supporters of the event, will no doubt cause a splash.

The Monaco Yacht Club aims to be a major player in promoting sustainability in the yachting sector, and its Monaco Energy Boat Challenge has become a flagship event. Alongside races and on-water displays is scheduled a series called Tech Talks, to further the discussion on environmentally-aware boating.

The event is also an opportunity for the challenge’s young competitors to connect with industry leaders. They are invited to take part in a Job Forum that offers work placements and mentorship and last year resulted in over 80 interviews.

This year, contestants are eligible for a new award. The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation Sustainable Yachting Technology Award will award the competition’s best energy-efficient or carbon-reducing solution with a grant of  €25,000 to further research and prototype development.

Launched in 2022, Sanlorenzo’s SP110 blends tradition and innovation

Part of Sanlorenzo’s “smart performance” range, the SP110 was honoured at this year’s Compasso d’Oro 2024 award ceremony, an important Italian design award, founded by Gio Ponti in 1954 and held at Milan’s ADI Design Museum on June 20, 2024.

The award has become a prestigious one in the design world, honouring Italian design.

The SP110 features exterior design by Zuccon International Project who incorporated aerodynamic shapes and a distinctive style that, alongside Piero Lissoni’s minimalist interiors, Tilli Antonelli’s product development and Marco Arnaboldi’s hull design, impressed the judges, who spent two years in the selection process.
