The Australian shipyard’s full range of motoryachts will be represented by Primus Marine from the dealership’s bases in Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.

Maritimo, founded in Australia in 2003 by Bill Barry-Cotter, has expanded its presence across Southeast Asia by appointing Primus Marine as its authorised dealer in the region. Maritimo builds motoryachts from 50-75ft across its M-Series (Flybridge), S-Series (Sedan) and Offshore Series. Its recent models include the M50 and S60.
Derrick Nowak, Maritimo’s Global Business Development Manager, stated: “Southeast Asia is an important growth market for Maritimo, and what we’re seeing is a growing desire among owners to experience more than what’s accessible on a day trip – to travel further, stay longer and reach parts of the region that many boats simply aren’t designed for. That requires a different type of platform – one built around range, protection and reliability, which is exactly what Maritimo is known for.

“We’ve seen consistent enquiry from across the region in recent years, particularly from Thailand, and it was important for us to align with a partner who understands this and is committed to building the brand properly. Primus Marine has a strong track record across Southeast Asia, and together we’re well positioned to grow Maritimo’s presence here.”
Founded in 2024, Primus Marine has bases in Phuket and Pattaya in Thailand, and footholds in Singapore and Malaysia.

Howard Prime, CEO and co-founder of Primus Marine, added: “Maritimo is a highly respected name among experienced yacht owners, particularly those who value offshore capability, efficiency and long-range cruising. We see strong potential in Southeast Asia, where cruising conditions align closely with what Maritimo delivers. We are proud to represent the brand and look forward to building the market across the region.”
The new partnership will help showcase Maritimo’s range of engineering-led, long-range motoryachts at Singapore Yachting Festival 2026, taking place at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove from April 23-26.
