Following the launch of the first Ultima 88, Sunreef confirmed that it has had close to 30 orders for the 93ft flybridge powercat.
Sunreef staged the Ultima 88’s ‘virtual’ world premiere at Singapore Yachting Festival 2026. On the Saturday evening of Southeast Asia’s leading boat show, the builder showed a walk-through video of the first Ultima 88 at the Nebula Bar in ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove.
The invitation-only gathering brought together local VIPs, media, clients and friends of the brand, offering guests a first look at the highly anticipated model.
Sunreef President Francis Lapp, who founded the company in Gdansk on Poland’s north coast in 2002, was among speakers as he attended the ceremony with his family. Other senior staff included Yvan Eymieu, who was appointed Global Commercial Director earlier this year and is based at the company’s commercial office in Dubai.
Sunreef is building the Ultima range at its new shipyard in Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE, where the Ultima 55 was the first model to be produced and had its debut at last year’s Dubai International Boat Show.
The Ultima 88, which has an overall length of 93ft and a beam of 30ft, has had almost 30 orders from clients including tennis superstar Carlos Alcaraz. Standout features included a waterside ‘Ocean Lounge’ with opening bulwarks, integrated aft-facing sofas on the swim platform, and an aft garage.
The main deck includes a long, covered cockpit leading into a saloon showing off the yacht’s light interiors, while accommodation on the lower deck includes a stunning full-beam master suite forward. The Ultima 88 is also the series’ first model with a flybridge, which features an aft area dedicated to loose furniture plus a dining area and triple-seat helm station forward.
“The Ultima 88 embodies Sunreef Yachts’ forward-thinking vision, blending cutting-edge innovation with refined aesthetics and performance-driven design. It introduces a bold new dimension of performance luxury,” Sunreef stated.
“The yacht delivers an exceptional balance of speed, efficiency and refined comfort at sea. Blending the agility of a monohull with the stability, generous living space and shallow draft of a multihull, the Ultima 88 reflects a forward-thinking approach to modern yacht architecture.”
