Southeast Asia Yachting Conference 2026: Panel line-ups

The third edition of the two-day conference precedes Yacht Style Awards 2026 and the Singapore Yachting Festival.
This year’s Southeast Asia Yachting Conference at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove from April 21-22 opens with a high-level panel about core sectors driving the ASEAN yachting industry, marinas, boat sales and superyachts.
Day One
On the Tuesday at 9.15am, ‘Blue Capital: Investments in Southeast Asia Marinas and the Yachting Industry’ brings together Arthur Tay (SUTL Group, Singapore) and Erwin Bamps (Gulf Craft Group, UAE), moderated by Sarah Flavel (Damen Yachting, Netherlands), to explore where real investment is happening and what still needs to be in place for the region to scale.
In ‘Marina & Waterfront Development Standards’ at 10.30am, operators and industry bodies, including James Roy (ONE°15 Marina, Singapore), Scott Finsten (Ocean Marina Jomtien, Thailand), Joseph Prabantara (Marina Development Indonesia) and Suzanne Davies (Marina Industries Association, Australia), address the realities behind building and operating marinas in Southeast Asia, from standards to approvals and long-term viability.
At 11.15am, ‘Boat Market Evolution: Sales and the Cost of Growth’ features Ewa Stachurska (Simpson Marine / Sanlorenzo APAC) and UAE-based Yvan Eymieu (Sunreef Yachts,) alongside additional experienced yacht sales professionals, offering perspectives across builder expectations, team development and regional collaboration.
The Anatomy Of A Brokerage Sale’ (1.30pm) breaks down what really happens between offer and ownership in Southeast Asia. Hosted by Australia-based Zac Bailey (Indo-Pacific Solutions), the panel includes Kit Lui (J.P. Morgan Private Bank, Singapore), Angel Zhou (Benetti Asia), Rob Luijendijk (Damen Yachting, Netherlands) and Julien Solari (Camper & Nicholsons APAC).
‘From Cruising Only To Strategic Refits’ (2.15pm) is moderated by Simone Centola (SBIA) and brings together Lim Nian Hua (ST Engineering), Robert Taylor (Clearvac Engineering), Simon Farmer (Superyacht Captain) and Tim Ghinn (Asiatique Yacht Supplies) to explore whether the region can support long-term technical works and become part of a yacht’s operational lifecycle.
In ‘Asean Alignment & Positioning’ (3.30pm), Wade Pearce (SBIA), Suzy Rayment (APSA) and Ekrem Reyhancioglu (ICOMIA Asia Working Group) focus on how associations, data and industry collaboration can move from parallel efforts to something more structured and coordinated.
Day Two
The second day’s panels start at 9.15am with ‘Charter Frameworks’. Led by Mike Sager (Ankor Software), a panel with Benjamin Tabeteau (Asiamarine / TYBA), Alvin Teh (MYIRBA) and Laura Verbrugge (Fraser) explores how licensing, operations and digital systems can evolve into a more scalable regional model.
The programme then looks forward, with a panel for ‘Robotics, AI and Technology’ (11.00am). Speakers including Elliot Cousins (Ankor Software), Carlo Lustrissimi (5.0 Robotics), Tharin Tan (Pasini Yachts) and Björn Antonsson (Candela) show how technology and new business models are beginning to reshape the industry.
‘Start-ups & New Market Entrants Platform’ (1.00pm) will feature selected companies presenting short pitches to the full audience. This will be followed by 1.45pm and 3.00pm breakout sessions covering marinas, yacht refit and shipyards, AI and technology, associations and charter.
