Sunreef Yachts will present its two largest Eco models to date at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show (September 27-30) in Port Hercules, showing the Polish shipyard’s commitment to sustainable technology through its solar-electric catamarans.
The builder will show hull three of the 80 Sunreef Power in Monaco two weeks after the model’s world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival. It will also display the third hull of the Sunreef 80 Eco sailing catamaran, which appears at Cannes and Monaco a year after the model’s first hull, Marie-Joseph (click for Review), appeared at both shows last September.

Both Eco models on show in Monaco feature Sunreef’s revolutionary solar-power system – a ‘solar skin’ integrated into the bodywork – as well as a smart energy management system and energy-saving air-conditioning.
Described by Sunreef as “the world’s most advanced electric motor yacht”, the 80 Sunreef Power Eco features solar panels in the hull sides, superstructure and flybridge hard top. Standout features include a jacuzzi on the bow terrace, an invisible aft garage and an outdoor gym, while the four-cabin unit on show in Monaco features a sustainable décor with flax fibre furniture.

The grey third unit of the Sunreef 80 Eco only features solar panels on the superstructure and hard top. Units one and two of the 80 Eco also feature them on the hulls, while hull one also features them on the mast). The 80 Eco can also generate green energy while sailing through a state-of-the-art hydrogeneration system.
Sunreef Yachts has two sites in Gdansk and a new facility in the UAE, while its dealers in Asia include Hong Seh Marine in Singapore and Lee Marine in Thailand.
