In the second chapter of World Premieres 2025, Yacht Style looks at the rest of the year’s new motoryachts, many debuting at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival.

AB Yachts AB 95

AB Yachts – part of Italy’s Next Yacht Group – hosted the global debut of the AB 95 at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival before also exhibiting the superyacht at the Monaco Yacht Show. The 28.5-metre flybridge motoryacht can reach 50 knots due to 6,000hp of thrust from three 2,000hp MAN V12 engines operating with two MJP steerable waterjets and an MJP central booster.

Designed by Archea Associati, the sleek design includes a reverse windscreen and a low-slung, helm-free flybridge reached from the cockpit by two external carbon staircases. Aft, the beach area includes an integrated sea-facing sofa, while the lower deck can accommodate up to 10 guests in two full-beam suites and two guest cabins, plus four crew in two cabins.

Also from Italy, Absolute debuted the 70 Fly and Navetta 62 at Cannes. The 70 Fly is the flagship of the inland builder’s Flybridge series and feature’s Absolute’s first high-low swim platform. As well as the cockpit and aft flybridge areas featuring loose, modular furniture, attractions include a saloon with sliding doors to port. The lower deck includes a full-master suite forward, full-beam VIP midships and two more guest cabins in-between.

Absolute Navetta 62

The Navetta 62 joined the shipyard’s series of high-volume semi-displacement flybridge models. Notable features include a reimagined foredeck, where a C-shaped sofa faces a forward sunbed that can be set up with an aft-facing sofa, allowing guests to sit around an adjustable high-low table. The lower deck’s three guest cabins include two full-beam suites with en-suite bathrooms.

Among British builders, Sunseeker unveiled the 2025 edition of the Manhattan 68 indoors at Boot. As well as a sleeker profile, the updated version is primarily distinguished by new layouts plus refreshed exterior upholstery. The flybridge features a larger, more versatile seating arrangement and an ergonomic console, while the aft cockpit includes a built-in privacy screen. For the interior, Design Unlimited has created options for configurable layouts on the main and lower decks.

Princess F58

Princess, celebrating six decades since it was founded in 1965, kicked off the year at Boot with the F58’s global debut along with the first outing of the 60th-anniversary edition of the V40. The second-largest model in the F Class of flybridge motoryachts, the F58 can reach up to 35 knots with twin 1,200mhp MAN V8s, has the option of a moulded hardtop, and features three guest cabins and a crew cabin on the lower deck.

Princess’s second debut of 2025 was at Cannes, with the V65 unveiled as the new flagship of the Plymouth builder’s V Class of cruisers. Featuring an Olenski-designed deep-V hull and predicted to reach 36 knots, the V65 has an array of notable features including a super-smooth exterior, a large, three-window sunroof, a cockpit with an aft-facing triple sunpad, and a foredeck with a sofa and two adjustable sunloungers.

Pearl debuted its new 63 flybridge at the Palma International Boat Show, with the brand upgrading its 62 with a series of impressive new features including a revised aft cockpit with a huge L-shaped sofa, two foldable, high-low tables and opening balconies on both sides. A midships master cabin with a separate entrance is among four double guest cabins, while other key features include a hydraulic swim platform, a tender garage or crew cabin, and a flybridge hard top with sunroof.

Galeon 620 Fly

Galeon, meanwhile, continues to put out new product at an alarming rate, starting the year at Boot by debuting the 435 GTI – the first inboard model in the GTO (Grand Touring Outboards) series – and an upgraded version of the 640 Fly featuring an interior by Hong Kong-based In Situ & Partners.

In Situ is also responsible for the interiors of the 620 Fly that debuted at Cannes. Instead of offering drop-down sides on the main deck like previous Galeon models, the 620 Fly introduces two long, fold-down aft bulwarks that hover above the water and adjoin the aft platform for a three-sided walkaround beach club. The port balcony is even accessible from the full-beam master suite. And there’s also a main-deck balcony, on the starboard side.

Also at Cannes, the Polish shipyard introduced the 435 Exp, the first model in a new ‘explorer’ line. The yacht features a modernised, trawler-style profile with reverse-ranked windscreen, and a sculpted flybridge with an upper helm.

Saxdor 400 GTS

Finland’s Saxdor staged the world premiere of the 400 GTS at Cannes. With a fully open deck and T-top roof, semi-walkaround layout, fold-down terraces and versatile lounging solutions, the open 400 GTS complements the performance-driven 400 GTO and versatile 400 GTC.

UAE’s Gulf Craft debuted both its Majesty 112 Terrace tri-deck superyacht and Majesty 100 Terrace at this year’s Dubai International Boat Show, with the 100 Terrace going on to appear at both Cannes and Monaco with the Majesty 120.

An evolution of the popular Majesty 100, the 100 Terrace introduces a full-length flybridge that features a pool and lounging area forward of the enclosed skylounge, while also providing shelter for an open-air bow ‘terrace’ on the main deck. Gulf Craft also revamped its range of Oryx sport cruisers, debuting the 47LX, 37FX and 32FX in Dubai.

Majesty 100 Terrace

Australia’s Maritimo staged the world premieres of its M50 flybridge and S60 sedan models at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May 2025. The M50 features an enclosed flybridge, a ‘folding’, full-width hydraulic swim platform and a fuel capacity of 3,700 litres for extended range. The S60 has a hardtop that can carry a davit and tender or water toys, freeing up the ‘adventure deck’ and aft garage for other purposes.

FROM FRANCE

Prestige has had another significant year, with the French-owned builder adding a third model to both its upgraded F-Line of flybridges and growing M-Line of multihull motoryachts. The F4.3, which debuted at Boot and exhibited at Cannes, is the new entry model for the F-Line.

Prestige F4.3

The successor to the 420, the F4.3 is a similarly impressive all-round package, with a large flybridge for a 43-footer and two full-beam cabins on the lower deck. A notable change is that access into the saloon is via doors on either side of the aft galley, which connects with the cockpit by a huge flip-up window. There’s also an outdoor barbecue, accessible from the swim platform.

Beneteau has had a busy year across its motor ranges, debuting most of the year’s new models at Cannes. The shipyard’s biggest new model is the Grand Trawler 63, built at Groupe Beneteau’s Monfalcone shipyard in Italy.

The successor to the Grand Trawler 62, the 63 retains the full-displacement hull but otherwise features upgrades to most living areas, which include three or four guest cabins on the lower deck, while a wide range of enticing new options are also offered.

Beneteau Grand Trawler 63

Beneteau has also introduced a new entry model for the Swift Trawler series, with the 37 developed in both Fly and Sedan versions. The former includes a low windshield on the flybridge, a helm station to starboard, and an integrated C-shaped sofa and table plus cool box.

The Sedan version’s coach roof includes a clean top deck that can be used to store water toys and recreational gear or can be fitted with loose furniture like sunbeds and chairs. Both versions can include a bimini.

Beneteau Gran Turismo 35

Beneteau has also refreshed its Gran Turismo line, introducing both the 35 and 40 ‘crossover express cruisers’ at Cannes. Designed by Andreani Design with naval architecture by Michael Peters, both open models feature drop-down sides and two cabins below deck. The 35 comes with outboard engines, while the 40 is available with either outboard or inboards.

Beneteau has also added to its Antares line of weekenders, introducing the new Antares 9 at Boot and the Antares 12 Coupe at Cannes. The latter complements the range’s flagship 12 Fly, also features a starboard cockpit balcony, and can be fitted with either two 400hp or three 300hp outboard engines.

Jeanneau’s 2025 powerboat debuts comprise the Merry Fisher 1095 Fly Series 2 and Cap Camarat 9.0 Series 2, both upgraded editions of previous models.

AB Yachts, part of Italy’s Next Yacht Group, has shared photos and details of its AB 95, which exhibited at the 34th Monaco Yacht Show following the model’s world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival. The yacht is notable for its top speed of 50 knots, boosted by 6,000hp from three 2,000hp MAN V12 engines operating with two MJP steerable waterjets and an MJP central booster.

The 28.45m flybridge motoryacht has a 6.8m beam and features exterior design by Archea Associati. The sleek styling includes a reverse windshield on the main deck, home to the yacht’s only helm station, and a flybridge with a low windshield that benefits aerodynamics.

The AB 95 incorporates some of the styling and features of the 43-knot AB 110, whose second hull exhibited with the AB 95 at both Cannes and Monaco.

Marco Casamonti, Creative Director of Archea Associati, said: “With the AB 95, we wanted to evolve the legacy of our AB 110 project, continuing a journey that unites tradition and innovation. The result is the fusion of AB Yachts’ 30-year expertise in yachting with our studio’s know-how in architectural and design projects, giving life to a yacht that incorporates the most advanced engineering solutions, with top-quality materials and finishes.

“A timelessly elegant yacht, perfectly balanced between design and functionality, performance and comfort, the new AB 95 is designed for those who demand high sporting performance on the open sea without compromising on the premium quality of interior and exterior spaces that seamlessly flow into one another. We are proud of this project, which represents a perfect synthesis of the past, present and future of our nautical vision.”

The AB 95’s fully equipped beach area includes an integrated sea-facing sofa and a garage that can house a 4.5m tender and a jetski. The flybridge can be accessed from the cockpit by two external carbon staircases and is helm free, meaning the whole top deck is dedicated to socialising, with sunbathing areas fore and aft of two seating areas on both sides.

On the main deck, the saloon includes a lounge to starboard and a dining table to port, while forward is a black-lacquered galley that also serves as a cocktail bar. The lower deck includes two full-beam suites and two guest cabins, as well two cabins for four crew. The interiors are elevated by premium materials such as teak parquet flooring, Italian leathers, integrated LED strips and light-toned ceilings.

Fountaine Pajot FP41

Asia Yachting has announced the recent sales of three Fountaine Pajot models, with the FP41 and Elba 45 sailing catamarans, and the MY6 powercat all sold into different markets in Asia. Headquartered in Hong Kong and with offices in Southeast Asia, Asia Yachting sold the FP41 and Elba 45 soon after this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival.

“These recent sales are more than just transactions; they are proof of our commitment, market knowledge and global reach,” Asia Yachting stated. “The demand for the innovative and luxurious Fountaine Pajot brand has never been higher. This incredible momentum is a testament to the market’s confidence in both the brand and our brokerage services.

Fountaine Pajot Elba 45

The FP41, the brand’s new entry model for its sailing range, had its world premiere at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, where it debuted alongside the FP44, both models following Fountaine Pajot’s new naming style for its catamarans.

The Elba 45 has a length of 13.45m and a beam of 7.55m, and features an open flybridge with a C-shaped sofa and a double sunpad forward, beside the helm.

Fountaine Pajot MY6

The MY6 is a 15m powercat available with two 380hp or 480hp engines. The model was formerly known as the MY44, which was the brand’s flagship motoryacht until the Power 67 and more recently the Power 80 were developed upon hulls used for the Alegria 67 and Thira 80 sailing catamarans. The MY6 sold by Asia Yachting will be delivered to its owner later this year.

Following this successful sale, we’re pleased to share that new MY6 units remain available with substantial discounts,” Asia Yachting stated. “This limited-time offer presents an unprecedented opportunity to own this premium power catamaran at exceptional value.”

Cantieri di Pisa and T. Mariotti have signed a strategic agreement with the aim of creating a new generation of 50m-plus superyachts, entirely designed and built in Italy. Based on the Canale dei Navicelli, Cantieri di Pisa has been enjoying a period of revival since the shipyard’s acquisition by Enrico Gennasio in 2021, having been founded in 1945.

T. Mariotti, founded in 1928, is a world leader in luxury cruise ships and also builds megayachts and offshore vessels at its facilities in Genoa, two hours’ drive northwest of Pisa. Cantieri di Pisa yachts over 50m will be built at the T. Mariotti facilities in Genoa and bear the label ‘Cantieri di Pisa powered by T. Mariotti’.

The companies’ first collaboration is the Super Polaris 70 powered by T. Mariotti, a 70m superyacht heralding the the rebirth of the legendary Polaris line and featuring interior design by Pulina Exclusive Interiors.

Marco Massabò (CEO, Cantieri di Pisa) and Marco Ghiglioni (CEO, T. Mariotti)

Marco Massabò, CEO of Cantieri di Pisa since 2021, said: “With this agreement, we want to give new impetus to an iconic brand like Cantieri di Pisa. The Super Polaris 70 is the first step on a journey that looks to the future with enthusiasm, in the name of Italian quality and excellence.

This partnership is based on shared industrial principles and stems from genuine friendship and mutual respect, as well as common values: a similar ethical and family-oriented approach. It is a decisive step that brings together tradition and design with construction and engineering capabilities, allowing us to face future challenges together.”

Marco Ghiglione, CEO of T. Mariotti, added: “This collaboration with Cantieri di Pisa is a natural fit for us: we are combining the best of two worlds. Pisa brings the style, tradition and strength of Italian design; T. Mariotti contributes its large-scale industrial and engineering capabilities.

“Together, we are opening up a new opportunity for the market: Italian yachts over 50m that combine beauty, elegance, technology and construction reliability. We are convinced that this synergy will deliver extraordinary results.”

Since the appointment of Chief Designer Antonio Luxardo in 2024, Cantieri di Pisa has been reviving and reinventing the brand’s Polaris, Saturno and Akhir lines in collaboration with international studios such as Pulina, m2atelier, Parisotto + Formenton, and Francesca Cianficconi.

Cantieri di Pisa also has a custom division, with builds including a 40m superyacht for a French owner, and a thriving refit division, which in 2025 has been working on over 30 projects with a total length of over 1,500m. The shipyard is also working with partners including De Wave Group and its subsidiary Mobil Line, which designs and builds customised naval furnishings.

The shipyard has 24,000sqm of production space, with hardware including a 300-tonne travel lift and a 670-tonne water lift. Cantieri di Pisa plans another upgrade for the refit division, including the creation of a new yard and an area with apartments for crew, as well as the vertical extension and refurbishment of an existing 200m-long industrial shed.

Nautor Swan announced that it expects to deliver the first Alloy 44 in 2028, with the yacht set to become the flagship of the Finnish-founded shipyard, which was acquired by Sanlorenzo in 2024. The Alloy 44 marks a build departure for Swan, with the aluminium hull built by the historic Gouwerok shipyard in the Netherlands before the yacht is completed in Italy at Nautor Swan’s new facility in Viareggio.

Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design designed the Alloy 44 in collaboration with Swan’s New Product Development and Technical Office teams.

“Alloy gives us new freedom without losing the Swan silhouette, elegance in line, purpose in detail, and a sailing experience that feels effortless,” said Malcolm McKeon, who founded his UK-based studio in 2012, having worked at Dubois Naval Architects for over three decades.

Swan Alloy 44

Earlier this year, Nautor Swan announced a partnership with Edmiston to promote the brand’s new line of alloy sailing yachts, which will also include 50m-plus models.

US-based Bruce Brakenhoff, Edmiston’s primary contact for the collaboration, reaffirmed the brokerage firm’s strong support for the Swan Alloy 44 and highlighted the long-term alliance between the two companies, strengthened by the opening of a Nautor Swan sales office in Newport, at the heart of the East Coast sailing scene in the US.

“For Edmiston, this partnership is a natural step as Nautor Swan is one of the most legendary brands in sailing,” Brakenhoff said. “We believe in the Swan Alloy 44 project and its potential to set a new standard in a superyacht sailing market that holds growing appeal.”

Swan Alloy 44

At 44m (144ft), the Alloy 44 will be significantly longer than the Swan 131 launched in 2006 and the brand’s current flagship, the Swan 128. Both were designed by German Frers, who has been designing Swan models for over four decades. The first Swan 128, Be Cool, debuted at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, while hull two, a diesel-electric hybrid, is due to launch in early 2026.

Massimo Perotti, Chairman and CEO of Sanlorenzo, said: “With the launch of the Swan 128 and the groundbreaking Swan Alloy 44, the brand continues to push the boundaries of innovation while remaining deeply rooted in its heritage. From the smallest ClubSwan 28 to the most ambitious Maxi projects, Swan’s legacy endures. A Swan is a Swan.”

Nautor Swan, which is represented by Simpson Marine in Asia-Pacific (excluding Japan), is also developing a Swan 73. Designed by Frers and due to launch in 2027, the Swan 73 marks the brand’s return to the 70ft segment for the first time in more than two decades.

Benetti is scheduled to launch the first B.Now 52M in 2028 and the first B.Loft 58M the following year. In 2029, the Italian shipyard also plans to deliver the second B.Now 72M with Oasis Deck®, having recently announced the sale of the latter following the sale of the first unit in 2023.

Daniela Petrozzi, Benetti’s Sales Director, said: “The sale of a new 72m yacht and the presentation of two new models that enrich the B.Now and B.Loft families confirm our dynamism and ability to bring continuous evolution, new features and new trends to the large custom yacht market.”

The B.Now 52M is an evolution of the hugely successful B.Now 50M (click for Review), with Benetti recently announcing the model’s 21 sales as “an absolute record in this size category”. All B.Now models, which also include 60M and 67M versions, feature exterior design by RWD and the option of an Oasis Deck® beach club.

RWD has continued its collaboration with Benetti by designing the flowing exterior of the B.Now 52M, which features interiors by Valentina Zannier. The iconic Oasis Deck® spans 15m from the stern to the saloon doors and covers 130sqm, making it 30 per cent larger than on the B.Now 50M. The larger, completely redesigned pool incorporates a retractable cover system.

Charlie Baker, Director of RWD, said: “Our vision for the B.Now 52M was to reprise the extraordinary features that made the B.Now 50M such a success and take them to the next level, creating a harmonious combination of openness, functionality and flexibility.”

Valentina Zannier designed the B.Now 52M interiors

The main deck has no external starboard passage due to a widebody design, with the interior now including a continuous pathway through to a bow terrace with panoramic views. A larger internal staircase in the centre becomes a design feature, while the dining room is now located towards the bow and is lit by floor-to-ceiling windows.

On the upper deck, the elimination of the external staircase up to the terrace creates a new 110sqm area entirely reserved for the owner’s cabin and private terrace.

Zannier said: “A new concept must represent progress in terms of both aesthetics and functionality in equal measure, and the B.Now 52M perfectly embodies this balance. Essential in her clean architectural lines, elegant in her interior design language, and with fluid connections between the spaces.”

B.Loft 58M was designed inside and out by Cassetta

Like the B.Loft 65M, the B.Loft 58M features exteriors and interiors by Cassetta Yacht Designers, the studio headed by founder Giorgio Cassetta. Dominated by vertical lines, the design focuses on “contemporary architectural language inspired by large villas and modern lofts”, according to Benetti.

Highlights include an appealing cabana on the swim platform, offering a shaded area that can be open or closed, and a new interpretation of the beach club. After the side wings are deployed, the waterside swim platform is 15.5m wide and covers an area of 120sqm. The cabana roof is home to sunpads and a swimming pool, and can be accessed from the cockpit or stairs from the upper deck.

The beach club includes an enclosable cabana

The loft-like atmosphere inside is embodied on the upper deck by the panoramic, 70sqm-plus skylounge, which has a remarkable ceiling height of 3.5m, extending to the aft end of the sun deck. The large glass side walls offer unobstructed views, while a large sliding door opens onto an aft outdoor deck offering alfresco dining with sea views.

“We wanted B.Loft to be a place where you feel wonderfully at ease wherever you are on board: a space that’s both familiar and surprising,” Giorgio Cassetta said. “We were inspired by the modern architecture of waterfront villas, particularly in Central America, with terraces on multiple levels that are always perfectly interconnected, where everyone feels part of the same environment.”

The luxury catamaran builder has designed the 65M Sunreef Explorer, which features a retractable A-frame crane and zen-like interior.

Sunreef Yachts has revealed the first renderings of its 65M Sunreef Explorer concept, which follows on from 40m and 50m powercat designs proposed as part of the brand’s Explorer series announced in 2022. The Polish shipyard – which also has a production facility in the UAE – has described the 65m powercat as “its most ambitious project to date”.

“This flagship concept is the largest luxury catamaran ever designed, offering extraordinary comfort, long-range efficiency and explorer-level autonomy,” Sunreef stated.

Sunreef states that “the yacht is engineered for global exploration” and has a cruising speed of 14 knots and a top speed of 18 knots, while the design includes an internal volume of 1,800GT. The reverse-bow hulls are two decks high until the aft third of the boat, which is dominated by an enormous open deck.

The aft deck has a longitudinal 20ft-long pool at its centre and space to store a range of toys, tenders, submersibles and a 45ft chase boat, which can all be deployed by a retractable A-frame crane with two supports stored by the stairways down to the swim platform.

The beach club area features fixed transoms on either side, which can be linked when the central platform is lowered.

When set up as a full-beam platform, the area offers room to store a 23ft tender and jetskis, or the space can be transformed into a guest area with deck furniture and a parasol at the water’s edge. The beach club area also includes fold-down sides, a gym and internal storage for water toys.

On the main deck, the proposed interior starts with a large dining area, while a forward hallway separates large lounges on both sides, each designed for guests to admire the views through full-height windows. A curved stairway leads to an enclosed upper deck with outdoor areas fore and aft, while the enclosed top deck includes an aft sun terrace.

The yacht includes seven guest cabins, comprising an owner’s suite, two VIPs and four more doubles, plus there’s accommodation for 22 crew.

A highlight is the owner’s suite on the upper deck, where a full-beam bedroom offers 270-degree views through floor-to-ceiling windows and includes a centrally placed bed with room either side for a day bed, sofa, chairs and coffee tables.

Behind the bed is an office area with sea views, an enormous walk-in dressing room with glass-fronted cupboards and a sofa, an open two-person bathtub, as well as two bathrooms with sea-view showers. Outdoor areas include a private foredeck lounge and an aft deck with a jacuzzi overlooking the main pool.

World Premieres 2025: Motoryachts Part 1

SHARE

In the first chapter of World Premieres 2025, Yacht Style rounds up the year’s new motoryachts by Italian giants Azimut-Benetti, Ferretti Group and Sanlorenzo.

AZIMUT|BENETTI’S DEBUTS

Azimut Grande 30M

Azimut’s world premieres for 2025 were saved for the Cannes Yachting Festival, where the star attraction was the all-new Grande 30M and the late surprise was the Fly 82. Hull one of the Grande 30M, exhibited at Cannes and then the Genoa International Boat Show, will eventually head to Hong Kong following a 2023 sale by the Marine Italia Asia dealership.

The enclosed flybridge motoryacht is the fourth Grande model to feature an Alberto Mancini exterior but Azimut’s first all-new superyacht to feature interior design by m2atelier, the Milan-based studio headed by co-founders Marco Bonelli and Marijana Radovic.

The design includes the Deck2Deck™ Terrace and Infinity Skydeck, which were introduced on the Grande 26M and ‘semi-walkaround’ Grande 36M respectively. The Grande 30M’s skylounge has sliding doors on the port and starboard sides as well as aft, and sits at the heart of a ‘full-walkaround’ upper deck that runs flush from the stern to a bow featuring a spa pool.

The Deck2Deck™ Terrace is incorporated on the main deck, where the cockpit can be expanded aft when the teak garage door is raised to a horizontal position.

Azimut Fly 82

Benetti’s world premieres in 2025 were the Class 44M and the B.Now 67M with Oasis Deck®. The Class 44M shown at Cannes was hull one, Juno’s 7, while the second, Fortitude¹, successfully completed a dramatic slipway launch at Benetti’s Viareggio shipyard over the summer.

Benetti’s largest fibreglass yacht, the Class 44M is designed inside and out by Cassetta Yacht Designers, which collaborated with Benetti on the exterior lines, interiors and décor. The 144ft 7in tri-deck superyacht is the successor to the Diamond 44M and based on the same hull as the former model, which first launched in 2020 and was also designed by Giorgio Cassetta’s studio.

Class 44M highlights include a 102sqm sundeck with a hardtop, a new-look beach club, accommodation for 10 guests and nine crew, and a 4,100nm range at 11 knots with two 1,400hp MAN engines.

Benetti B.Now 67M

The B.Now 67M with Oasis Deck®, which debuted at Monaco, features six levels from the tank deck to the observation deck, and is the largest B.Now model delivered to date. Hull one, Iryna, was handed over to a repeat client in Livorno earlier this year, just a month or so before the second hull, known internally as FB287 (Iryna was FB282), was launched into the water.

Both units feature the Oasis Deck® option, which is also offered on the other B.Now models (50M, 60M, 72M), all featuring exterior styling by British studio RWD. However, while Iryna featured an interior by Benetti, the second unit – which appeared at the Monaco show – features interiors by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design.

FERRETTI GROUP’S RANGE

Yacht debuts, yacht premiere, yacht show, boat show, Monaco Yacht Show 2025, Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, motoryachts, superyachts, Azimut, Benetti, Ferretti, Riva, Pershing, Sanlorenzo, Next Yacht Group, AB Yachts, Absolute Yachts, Sunseeker, Princess, Pearl Yachts, Galeon, Saxdor, Gulf Craft, Maritimo, Prestige, Beneteau, Jeanneau

Riva 54Metri

Ferretti Group’s new models in 2025 were dominated by Riva, led by the all-aluminium flagship 54Metri, with hull one launched at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona over the summer. Officina Italiana Design, Riva’s exclusive designer for over three decades, designed the sub-500GT superyacht, which has an overall length of 54m and a beam of 8.6m.

The successor of the 50Metri, the 54Metri spans four decks, with the lower, main and upper levels connected by a lift. The upgraded outdoor areas include a beach area with a large transformer platform, a 5m-long pool and sunloungers, and drop-down aft bulwarks.

Riva 112’ Dolcevita Super

Riva’s 112’ Dolcevita Super – an upgrade of the 110’ Dolcevita – headed the brand’s four premieres at Cannes. The superyacht can top 25 knots with two 2,638mhp MTU 16V engines, while highlights include a 59sqm cockpit featuring a 35sqm beach club with large fold-down sides.

The 60sqm flybridge features a spacious aft area with freestanding furniture, a cocktail bar with stools, and a retractable TV opposite a large central sofa. The saloon is available with sofas at the entrance and a midships dining area, or an aft dining area and midships lounge.

Riva 58’ Capri

Riva’s 58’ Capri, Cento (39ft) and Aquariva Special (33ft) also debuted at Cannes. A new addition to the Open series, the 58’ Capri evolves from the 56’ Rivale platform, draws design inspiration from the 68’ Diable, and is available with 1,000mhp or 1,200mhp MAN V8 engines, the latter powering the yacht to 37 knots.

The Capri features a streamline hardtop with a retractable electric bimini. Below deck are two double cabins for guests and one for crew, while the aft garage can house either a Williams TurboJet 325 tender or a TurboJet 285 alongside a Seabob.

The Cento is a limited-edition model produced to celebrate the 100th unit of the Rivamare (39ft) and can reach 40 knots with twin Volvo Penta Aquamatic Duoprop D6-440 DPI engines. Building on the Rivamare design, the Cento features an updated swim platform with an electro-hydraulic hatch that opens to create a beach area with chaise longues, storage for fenders and Seabobs, and a retractable gangway.

Riva Aquariva Special

The Aquariva Special is the first model given the ‘Special’ designation since the upgrade of the brand’s iconic Aquarama. The spiritual successor of the Aquarama, the Aquariva has been in production since 2001, with 300 units produced in 24 years. Fitted with a 370hp Yanmar 8LV, the Aquariva Special can top 41 knots.

Riva’s first premiere of 2025 was the Iseo Super (27ft), which debuted at Boot Düsseldorf a year after the production version of the El-Iseo electric boat was unveiled. An evolution of the Iseo runabout launched in 2011, the Iseo Super is the smallest boat in the Ferretti Group portfolio.

Ferretti Yachts 940

Ferretti Yachts debuted two Flybridge models in 2025, with the 940 unveiled at the Venice Boat Show followed by the 800 at Cannes. Both yachts feature design collaborations with Filippo Salvetti for exterior styling and IdeaeItalia for interiors.

The Ferretti Yachts 940 is the second-biggest model in the brand’s Flybridge series and features a main-deck master suite among five cabins. The yacht reaches 25 knots with twin 2,000mhp MAN V12 engines.

Ferretti Yachts 800

The Ferretti Yachts 800 completes the Flybridge range renewal that began in 2018 and has an overall length of 80ft 3in – or under 24m with an optional shorter stern platform. Highlights include the 40sqm flybridge, while options include a sliding door on the saloon’s starboard side. The yacht reaches 27 knots with two 1,550hp MAN V12s or 31 knots with the 1,800hp versions.

Pershing’s 40th anniversary this year included the Venice debut of the GTX70, the third and smallest model in Pershing’s ‘sport utility yacht’ series following the GTX116 (2023) and GTX80 (2024). Another collaboration with Vallicelli Design, the three-cabin sportbridge motoryacht has a top speed of 35 knots with three 900hp Volvo Penta D13-IPS1200 units.

Yacht debuts, yacht premiere, yacht show, boat show, Monaco Yacht Show 2025, Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, motoryachts, superyachts, Azimut, Benetti, Ferretti, Riva, Pershing, Sanlorenzo, Next Yacht Group, AB Yachts, Absolute Yachts, Sunseeker, Princess, Pearl Yachts, Galeon, Saxdor, Gulf Craft, Maritimo, Prestige, Beneteau, Jeanneau

Pershing GTX70

The Itama 54, a premiere at Cannes, marks the brand’s return to the 50-59ft open cruiser runabout segment. Tommaso De Luca handled the exterior and interior of the 54-footer, which stays true to the brand’s pared-down style and is available with twin 730hp or 850hp MAN i6 engines.

Innovations include the large forward sunpad and an outward-angled transom covered by an aft-facing sunpad. Brand firsts include side glazing along the entire length of the hull and two separate outdoor seating areas, aft and fore, while the lower deck includes two cabins, two bathrooms, a galley and a dinette.

SANLORENZO SPECIALS

Sanlorenzo SD132

Sanlorenzo debuted the SD132, SX120 and SL110A at Cannes. The SD132, which also showed at Monaco, is the brand’s biggest-ever composite model and flagship of its Yacht Business Unit. Fitted with twin MAN or CAT engines, the 420GT yacht has a 3,200nm cruising range.

Designed inside and out by Zuccon International Project, the 40.7m superyacht has an asymmetric layout on the main and upper decks, while highlights include a 70sqm fold-out beach terrace, an 85sqm flybridge with pool, and a side-launching garage for tenders up to 6.32m. Accommodation includes four guest cabins on the lower deck and a main-deck owner’s suite.

Sanlorenzo SX120

The SX120 is the new flagship of Sanlorenzo’s iconic ‘crossover’ series that started with the SX88 and SX76, and includes the SX100. Featuring exterior design by Zuccon and interiors by Lissoni & Partners, the 270GT, 120ft tri-deck is the first superyacht to feature the new Professional Platform for Volvo Penta’s IPS and is fitted with four 1,000hp engines – two for each pod.

The 40sqm beach area can expand to 70sqm once the side decks are opened, while the central pool can be covered by a sliding, adjustable sofa moved by a lift-and-slide mechanism. The beach club leads forward to an enclosed ‘lower lounge’ while forward of the staircase is a hammam. Guest accommodation comprises a main-deck owner’s suite and up to four lower-deck guest cabins.

Sanlorenzo SL110A

Fitting between the SL96A and SL120A, the SL110A flybridge motoryacht is the second-longest model in the SL series of planing yachts. Another design collaboration with Zuccon for the exterior and Lissoni for the interior, the 33.5m, 231GT model features a widebody design to port, with the large saloon and its starboard balcony among signature features.

As well as four lower-deck guest cabins, the SL110A has a main-deck owner’s suite with direct access to the foredeck swimming pool, while integrated sofas lie just a few steps away on the flybridge. Aft, the transom door opens to become a platform and reveal a garage for a tender and jetski. The SL110A reaches 27 knots and has a 1,250nm range at ‘economical speed’.

Derani Yachts opened its new Malaysia office at Pangkor Marina with a ceremony officiated by Dato Mohd Radzi Manan, Chairman of the Malaysia International Boat Show. Attending VIPs also included Dato Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu, Datuk Normah Hanum and Datin Seri Dr Nomee Ashikin.

Håkan Lange, Derani’s founder and Managing Director, hosted the event, which included sea trials and viewings of an Axopar 29 Cross Cabin and Greenline 40 followed by a waterfront barbecue. Axopar and Greenline are leading brands in Derani’s new yachts portfolio, which also includes Brabus Marine – a collaboration with Axopar – as well as Wider, Horizon and Fleming.

Unveiling Derani’s new yachts portfolio

Dato Radzi said: “It is an auspicious day, because I see a development that is very encouraging for the marine industry in Malaysia. Wherever Mr Håkan [Lange] is present, I see business – that is always a good sign for our industry.”

For Lange, the new office marked a return to Malaysia, where the Swede lived before moving to Phuket in 2004.

“We started selling boats here in the 1990s, so in many ways this feels like coming home,” Lange said. “This industry is all about people – the partners we work with and the clients we serve. We bring the products, we team up with good people, and together we continue living the dream.”

Pangkor Marina is situated on Marina Island, which lies east of Pangkor Island and is linked by a bridge to mainland Perak on Peninsular Malaysia’s west coast. The area is almost a midway point between Port Klang, west of Kuala Lumpur, and Penang to the north.

Dato Radzi emphasised the importance of collaboration for Malaysia’s marine sector. “The marine leisure industry in Malaysia still lacks sufficient support services, and we must work together as a community to develop this sector,” he said. “With new shows, better facilities and strong industry players, we can grow vibrant communities from Langkawi in the north to Johor in the south and beyond to East Malaysia.”

The Pangkor Marina office expands Derani’s presence across Southeast Asia, as it joins the company’s Phuket headquarters and partner representation in Singapore. The branch will offer yacht sales, brokerage and sea trials, supported by after-sales services.

Lange, who also stated an intention to expand to Indonesia, said: “Everyone else in the region is cutting down, but I think this is the right time to go the opposite direction with strategic partnerships.”

Absolute introduces Navetta 66

The four-cabin semi-displacement model could be among the inland Italian builder’s three world premieres at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival.

Following Absolute’s premieres of its Navetta 62 and 70 Fly models at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, the Italian shipyard has announced another new model in the making – the Navetta 66 – which will be among the shipyard’s world premieres at the Cannes show next year.

The semi-displacement flybridge yacht has been nicknamed the ‘Absolute Aurora’, and is described by the yard as being inspired by the first light of dawn, on account of its numerous new features and reimagined layout.

A key element of the yacht’s refreshed design is an additional fourth cabin, created for guests to enjoy infinity-style views out to sea due to its aft location just above sea level. Direct access to the water is also offered via the aft swimming platform.

Together with a forward, full-beam owner’s suite, a VIP cabin midships and a twin cabin, the Navetta 66 can host eight guests overnight.

Another design highlight of the Navetta 66 is the aft cockpit. The family-friendly area comes with a new retractable sunshade as well as a glass parapet, designed to allow for panoramic views while also enhancing safety on board for children and pets during alfresco entertaining.

The Navetta 66 is topped off with a generously-sized flybridge featuring a flexible, modular lounge area, another alfresco dining space, a fully-equipped wet bar and a helm station with an uninterrupted windshield.

With the yacht designed and constructed entirely in-house at the Absolute yard in Podenzano, owners can customise their Navetta 66 with a choice of two colour schemes: the brightly coloured Sunrise palette or the deeper Nightfall option. Ample use of glass allows the interiors to be flooded by natural light, with wood and ceramic finishes completing the contemporary look.

Like all other Navetta models by Absolute, the Navetta 66 will be powered by twin Volvo Penta engines.

Absolute, whose dealers in Asia include Absolute Marine, also plans to debut the Navetta 58 at next year’s Cannes show along with a third world premiere, to be revealed at this month’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Following in the footsteps of last year’s Beneteau Cup, the Beneteau Rendezvous: Halloween Edition will be held in Hong Kong on Saturday, October 25 – offering a ‘spooktacular sailing celebration’ and a ‘hauntingly good time’.

Asiamarine, which represents Beneteau’s sailing boats in Hong Kong and Singapore, is organising the one-day event, which starts at 9.30am and finishes at 9.00pm.

The day will start with a Beneteau-only sailing rally in the waters west and south of Hong Kong Island in the morning and afternoon, with the occasion focused on “the pure joy of sailing without the usual competitiveness of regattas”, according to Asiamarine.

Following the rally, the fleet will dock for a Halloween-themed afterparty at Aberdeen Boat Club’s Middle Island clubhouse, where participants are encouraged to embrace the ‘Hero vs Villain’ theme with creative costumes. The afterparty features a ‘Best Dressed’ competition, with special prizes awarded to the most exciting Hero or Villain costumes.

Alexandre Tricot, Beneteau Brand Manager at Asiamarine, said: “We’re thrilled to introduce this new tradition for Hong Kong’s Beneteau family. The Rendezvous creates the perfect setting for owners to connect, share sailing stories, and celebrate our shared passion for the Beneteau lifestyle in a relaxed and – this year – hauntingly fun atmosphere.”

Aberdeen Boat Club will manage all sailing logistics and F&B arrangements. Spaces are limited to Beneteau owners and their crews. The entry cost is HK$500 per boat and HK$200 per crew.

Azimut Grande 30M

Marine Italia Asia, Azimut’s exclusive distributor for Hong Kong, Macau, Guangdong, Taiwan and Singapore, is expecting five new Azimut yachts to arrive in Hong Kong before the end of 2025.

The arrivals include the much-anticipated delivery of the first Grande 30M, which had its world premiere at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival in France before exhibiting at the Genoa International Boat Show in Italy.

The Grande 30M is also Azimut’s first all-new model to feature an interior by m2atelier. The Milan studio has also worked on the interiors of new hulls of the 38m Grande Trideck and Grande 36M – which were shown at Cannes then the Monaco Yacht Show – as well as the brand’s flagship 44M due to debut in 2026.

Azimut Magellano 30M

The Magellano 30M (click for Review) is the other Azimut superyacht arriving in Hong Kong in late 2025, with the series flagship boasting a length of 97ft 5in and a beam of 23ft 2in. A world premiere in 2022, the Magellano 30 features an exterior by Ken Freivokh and a fuel capacity of 14,500 litres, in keeping with the range’s focus on long-distance cruising.

Hong Kong is also preparing to welcome the Magellano 60 (click for Review), which debuted in 2023 and is the series’ entry model, also featuring an exterior by Ken Freivokh. Marine Italia Asia has sold multiple units of the Magellano 60, which was among key models leading to a resurgence in popularity for the series.

Marine Italia Asia is also preparing to welcome both a Fly 78 and a Fly 62 from Azimut’s flybridge series, which has been the cornerstone of the brand’s sales into the region for decades. Featuring exterior design by Alberto Mancini and triple Volvo Penta IPS propulsion, the four-cabin Fly 78 can reach over 30 knots and was the flagship of the Fly line until the recent arrival of the Fly 82.

Featuring exterior design by Alberto Mancini and interior design by Fabo Fantolino, the Fly 62 (click for Review) also uses the IPS system, with twin 900hp or 1,000hp engines driving the three-cabin yachts to over 30 knots. The yacht is also renowned for its ‘beach cockpit’, where the aft sofa can convert into a deck-level, aft-facing sunpad that extends over the swim platform.
