Sunseeker Showcase opens in Hong Kong
NextWave Yachting has opened its spectacular Sunseeker Showcase at The Pulse shopping plaza in Repulse Bay on the south side of Hong Kong Island.
NextWave Yachting has launched the 4,500sqft Sunseeker Showcase in The Pulse shopping plaza in Repulse Bay on Hong Kong’s South Island. The multi-services yachting company, which has over 60 staff, was appointed as Sunseeker’s International dealer for Hong Kong in early 2021.
The opening ceremony included a ribbon-cutting by NextWave’s six principals and a welcome speech from Howard Chen, one of the group of friends who co-founded the company in March 2012.
“This is an exciting time for NextWave and Sunseeker,” said Chen, Board of Directors Lead for NextWave. “Our new experiential Showcase is a true reflection of the exceptional product we are proud to represent in the region. The opening ceremony was a special celebration of our appointment as Sunseeker’s official distributor in Hong Kong and we are delighted to welcome our clients to the global Sunseeker family in style.”
The new flagship venue features a private specification room complete with an immersive installation. In real time, clients can walk through their chosen Sunseeker model with a 360-degree tour of the interior space on selected models, enabling prospective buyers to visualise their preferred layout.
An interior design fabric and finishes display provides an opportunity to see and touch the collection of luxury materials curated by Sunseeker, also offering clients an interactive brand experience.
Douglas Culverwell, Sunseeker International’s Director of Distributor Development, said: “We are thrilled with the flagship Showcase in Hong Kong. NextWave has pioneered a unique client experience that offers an untapped way to interact with the Sunseeker brand. Our representation in this region is truly class-leading.”
NextWave was already one of Hong Kong’s largest yachting companies, but its recent appointment as the city’s Sunseeker dealer has raised the profile of a dealer now developing a ‘Seek More’ showroom in Repulse Bay and bringing a special Manhattan 68 to the city.
