Following the launches of Race in 2019 and Fifty in 2021, the third Riva 50Metri, featuring a metallic silver livery, has been launched at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona on Italy’s east coast. The launch was attended by the yacht’s EMEA-based owner, who is “a huge fan of the brand” and already owns another Riva.

Like all Riva models for over two decades, the 50Metri is a design collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the firm founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, the Ferretti Group Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, and the Group’s Engineering Department.

The five-deck 50Metri has a steel displacement hull with a 9m beam, an aluminium superstructure and can accommodate 10 guests and nine crew. Her profile is defined by three horizontal bands running from stern to bow, while materials include steel, glass and mahogany.

Outdoor attractions include the 120sqm sundeck, with 90sqm sheltered by the hard top, offers a generous sunbathing area, dining table, barbecue, sofas, pop-up TV and a hydromassage pool.

The interiors feature polished steel components and chiaroscuro interplays between tones of grey and mahogany segue from stern to bow.

Riva is also building the first 54Metri, the brand’s upcoming aluminium flagship scheduled for delivery at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in 2025.
