Lazzara Yachts, the American brand owned by Euro Marine Group, has sold the first UHV 100 motoryacht to an experienced American owner buying a yacht from the Turkey-based shipyard for the first time.

Part of the shipyard’s Ultra High Volume (UHV) series, the 30.5m, 225GT full-displacement yacht has a near-vertical bow, a reverse-angled flybridge windscreen and a notable beam of 7.39m (24ft 3in). Its three decks offer 385sqm (4,144sqft) of floor area, comprising 260sqm inside and 125sqm outside.

“The owner made his decision remarkably quickly,” the shipyard revealed, with the yacht sold just a few months after its launch. “From the moment he stepped aboard, the UHV 100’s extraordinary volume, quality of construction and residential comfort made an immediate impression.”

Built at the Euro Marine shipyard in Antalya, the enclosed-flybridge motoryacht is due to be delivered to the owner by the end of this year. His 2027 plans for the UHV 100 include a first season in the Mediterranean capped by a full summer of cruising, before the yacht is relocated to the US and based in Fort Lauderdale.

The yacht has twin 1,000hp Volvo Penta D13 engines, a 12,000-litre fuel capacity and a range of 1,500nm at 10 knots and 2,000nm at 8.5 knots.

In terms of living space, the main deck starts with a cockpit that includes alfresco dining for 10 and a wet bar, while the saloon features a lounge and formal dining. Forward is a galley to port, stairs up to the wheelhouse and down to the four-en-suite guest cabins, while the owner has access to a full-beam master suite in the bow.

Cockpit stairs lead up to the flybridge, where an open aft deck includes a 10-seat dining table, sofas and sun loungers, while midships is a full-beam, enclosed skylounge with a day head. The spacious foredeck offers sofas, sunpads and a spa pool, with the area accessible from both sides of the wheelhouse or by steps from the starboard walkway on the main deck.

Other guest areas include an aft swim deck with a high-low platform, and an enclosed beach club with sofas and a bar. The crew quarters, aft on the lower deck, include three cabins for five crew.

“The sale is an important milestone for the UHV 100 and the wider Lazzara UHV series,” Lazzara stated. “It validates the philosophy behind the project: more space, comfort and confidence at sea, without the need for significantly greater length.”

As well as UHV series, which includes the UHV 90 and UHV 160, Lazzara’s ranges include LPC (Power Catamaran), EX (Expedition), LMY (Motor Yacht) and LSX (Sport Express).
