Increasingly one of Hong Kong’s most anticipated yachting events, the Lantau Yacht Club (LYC) Boat Show has grown into a vibrant display of top yacht and lifestyle brands, dealers, media partners, and yachting associations.
The show’s reputation for showcasing the finest luxury yachts afloat attracts an impressive roster of prestigious exhibitors. Last year drew over 1,800 industry professionals and visitors, generated more than 280 media and influencer features, and set an event record for superyachts, including three over 30m presented by Camper & Nicholsons.
This year, the fourth edition of the LYC Boat Show will be held from November 6-8. Over 30 yachts are expected, with details to be revealed in an upcoming preview. Admission is complimentary with pre-registration at this link.
Furthermore, the three-day show will partner and complement The Festival of Connoisseurs, which will be held from November 4-6 at AsiaWorld-Expo, also in Lantau. The new event is organised by Informa Markets and supported by the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
Franklin Mak, Executive Vice President of Hospitality at HKR International, which owns LYC, commented: “We are deeply honoured to be a key partner of The Festival of Connoisseurs. As Hong Kong’s first and only 5 Gold Anchor Platinum Marina and Superyacht Ready Marina, LYC offers a truly unique maritime experience that underscores our leadership position in Asia.”
This year’s LYC Boat Show will also include a collaboration with the Zhuhai maritime industry. A dedicated showcase will feature about 10 exhibiting yachts and 10 technology booths showcasing advanced marine equipment, customised lighting fixtures and marina engineering solutions.
Mak added: “This year, we are especially excited to strengthen our cross-border collaboration with the Zhuhai maritime industry, and we look forward to showcasing the best of Hong Kong’s maritime lifestyle on a global stage.”
This year’s LYC Boat Show also breaks new ground by delivering a ‘3-in-1 lifestyle celebration’ uniting premier elements across sea, land and sky.
Kicking off day one will be an official Opening Ceremony and an industry forum hosted by Invest HK, to connect global stakeholders. Live jazz music will play throughout the event. Inside the clubhouse, Cortina Watch will host private viewings of haute horlogerie complications from Jacob & Co.
Luxury automotive craftsmanship takes centre stage with a flagship Rolls-Royce alongside a museum-grade, limited-edition 2008 MV Agusta Brutale 910R Wally motorcycle presented by Man Wai Motorcycle Centre, paired with artisan coffee from Rev N Roast.
Highlighting sustainable art, MeART presents on-site interactions with artist Nissa Kauppila showcasing collectable masterworks transformed from marine debris collected from Lantau Island.
Guests can also enjoy Hi-Fi grade audio experience of Celestion HOMEtainer, premium interactive culinary masterclasses – including red wine blending and gourmet sausage making – hosted by Feather & Bone, an immersive golf simulator experience hosted by Discovery Bay Golf Club, as well as the Kids’ Game Zone.
Guests can try culinary offerings from Auberge Hospitality brands including Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong, Discovery Bay Golf Club, Peony Chinese Restaurant, Discovery Bay Recreation Club, Club Siena, The Sukhothai Bangkok and The Sukhothai Shanghai, alongside canned cocktails from ONLY Beverages.
Pushing the boundaries of future personal air travel, XPeng will showcase its next-generation flying vehicle module. In addition, DJI will present an interactive drone obstacle challenge.
