Lagoon Escapade returns to Thailand

This year’s Lagoon Escapade Thailand was a three-day, two-night rally starting and finishing in Ao Po Grand Marina in Phuket.
Organised by Simpson Marine, this year’s Lagoon Escapade Thailand featured 15 yachts, with the fleet assembling in Ao Po Grand Marina in northeast Phuket.
Following an event briefing, the event started with a sail from Ao Po to Koh Roi where the fleet anchored for lunch and enjoy an afternoon of watersports and soaking up the sun. The day finished with a leisurely cruise around to the east side of Koh Yao Noi where guests enjoyed the sunset and a barbecue and drinks near Hornbill View Point.
Day two began with a sail to Hong Island where guests were able to enjoy an afternoon of kayaking around the island or take part in a small hike to the island’s viewpoint. In the evening, the fleet sailed to Tonsai Beach in Krabi, the destination for dinner and drinks on the beach. On the third and final day, the fleet sailed gently back to Ao Po Marina.
