Azimut shows Seadeck 9 design

The Italian builder reveals the fourth and largest model in its upcoming Seadeck series of hybrid yachts.
Azimut has revealed initial details and images of the Seadeck 9, the largest model in a series that will start with the Seadeck 6 in 2024 and be followed by the 7 and 8 models. The Italian builder says its first line of hybrid motor yachts introduces a new ‘gentle’ era for the shipyard as it focuses increasingly on environmental sustainability.
Like its smaller sister models, the Seadeck 9 features exterior design by Alberto Mancini and interiors by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, with the series marking the latter’s debut in the yachting world.
The Seadeck 9 also features the range’s signature ‘fun island’. The cascade of terraces offers 60sqm of surface area on three levels starting with the aft main deck, which includes an integrated pool flanked by two sunbeds that can slide to cover it. Three steps down is a full-beam deck closer to the water and a further level is offered by a hydraulic, retractable swim platform.
“The combined space is an unparalleled design masterpiece, whose elements transcend their individual functions to evoke, as a whole, the aspiration for a world of sharing, nature and freedom,” Azimut stated.
The shipyard has described the Seadeck models as its most efficient to date and new ‘ambassadors’ of its Low Emission Yacht fleet. According to Azimut, Seadeck features technological solutions that potentially reduce CO2 emissions by up to 40 per cent in an average year of use, both cruising and at anchor.
