Fountaine Pajot has appointed Asia Yachting as its official representative in Singapore and Thailand, in addition to the dealership’s existing markets in Hong Kong and the Philippines. The expanded remit was announced at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, where Olivier Besson, founder and CEO of Asia Yachting, signed the new agreement with Steven Guedeu, Deputy CEO of Fountaine Pajot.
The expanded partnership covers Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans and Fountaine Pajot Yachts, the latter responsible for the brand’s powercats and larger sailing catamarans. The former includes the FP41, FP44, FP48, FP51 and FP55, while the Yachts range includes models such as the FPY 59S and FPY 70S sailing cats, and the FPY 70 powercat.
Asia Yachting has represented Fountaine Pajot motor and sailing catamarans in the Philippines since 2019. In 2021, it began representing the brand’s motoryachts in Hong Kong, where it has also sold the sailing models since 2023. Asia Yachting now also represents all Fountaine Pajot models in Singapore and Thailand.
“We have believed in the potential of catamarans in Asia for many years, and the market has continued to develop in that direction,” said Besson, who founded Asia Yachting in 2007.
“Through our years of experience with Fountaine Pajot and the luxury yachting market in Asia, we have built a strong understanding of what owners in the region are looking for. Expanding into Singapore and Thailand is a natural next step for our partnership and allows us to bring that experience to an even wider client base.”
