CRN has delivered Cerulean to her owner at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, following successful tests and sea trials for the former Project Thunderball. Cerulean has an overall length of 70m, an 11m beam and 1,100GT of interior volume, which includes accommodation for up to 12 guests in the owner’s suite and five VIP cabins, as well as 15 crew in nine crew cabins. 

Y.Co, the owner’s representative and project management team, provided technical expertise and oversaw all the construction phases, from the inspection and acceptance processes to the project management activities, as well as supervision and coordination of third-party suppliers.

Dutch studio Vripack developed the custom yacht’s exterior design, preliminary naval architecture and general arrangement. Cerulean’s sleek, sailboat-inspired lines include a classic elongated bow, complemented by gently curved bilges and a seamless surface. 

Italy’s Nauta was responsible for the interiors and the design of the outdoor living areas, “with a particular focus on comfort and spatial flow”, according to CRN.

“Guided by the owner’s bespoke vision, the interior design concept transcends trends and time, expressing a deep connection to maritime culture through a sophisticated blend of timeless details, where heritage is reinterpreted with a contemporary and refined aesthetic,” CRN stated.

Cerulean is equipped with an energy-storage system, designed to manage onboard energy flows based on envisaged operations, capable of peak shaving and silent operation at anchor, contributing to a substantial reduction in fuel usage.
