Singapore’s SUTL Enterprise and Genting Malaysia have announced a collaboration to develop ONE°15 Marina Langkawi.
Resorts World Langkawi, owned and operated by Genting Malaysia, and ONE°15 Marina, a subsidiary of SUTL Enterprise, have announced a collaboration to develop ONE°15 Marina Langkawi in one of Malaysia’s most popular tourist destinations.
Resorts World Langkawi is located on the southern tip of the main island of Langkawi, which is situated off Peninsular Malaysia’s northwest coast, close to the border of Thailand. Langkawi is at the heart of a spectacular 99-island archipelago and is Southeast Asia’s first UNESCO Global Geopark.
SUTL Enterprise and Genting Malaysia have stated that ONE°15 Marina Langkawi will have more than 90 berths, with capacity for superyachts up to 140ft, and is expected to welcome its first yachts in the second half of 2027.
The marina is designed to expand a ONE°15 Marina portfolio that includes the flagship 270-berth Sentosa Cove facility, which opened in Singapore’s Sentosa Island in 2007, and a smaller facility on Indonesia’s Nirup Island, which is located 8nm south of Singapore and opened in 2023.
In April 2024, SUTL announced it was developing ONE°15 Marina Panwa Phuket in Thailand. A year later, the company announced an agreement to manage ONE°15 Marina Desaru Coast, close to Singapore, on the southeast corner of Malaysia’s Johor province. In January 2026, SUTL announced a put-and-call-option agreement to acquire Singapore’s Marina at Keppel Bay.

Langkawi is a well-established destination for tourists and boaters, but also provides a convenient duty-free stopover for cruises between Singapore and Phuket.
Arthur Tay, Executive Director and CEO of SUTL Enterprise, said: “The development of ONE°15 Marina Langkawi represents an important milestone in the continued expansion of our marina network and reinforces our commitment to developing exceptional waterfront destinations across Asia.
“Strategically located along the Andaman Sea, between our existing marinas in ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove in Singapore and ONE°15 Marina Panwa Phuket in Thailand, Langkawi will strengthen a natural yachting route for boaters to plan seamless cruising holidays across these connected destinations.
“Our regional marina footprint is carefully curated, each defined by a distinct personality and experience, delivering consistently high marina standards, offering members and the wider yachting community a diverse yet cohesive range of exceptional lifestyle-led marina experiences across the region.”
Lee Thiam Kit, President of Genting Malaysia, added: “Resorts World Langkawi has always been committed to creating unique experiences that celebrate the beauty and character of the island. Through our collaboration with ONE°15 Marina, we look forward to enhancing Langkawi’s appeal as a premier island tourism destination, offering visitors new ways to explore the island and its surrounding waters.
“This partnership also supports the Langkawi Development Authority’s vision of strengthening Langkawi’s position as a world-class tourism destination, by enriching the island’s tourism offerings and contributing to the sustainable growth of its maritime and leisure sectors.”
