Wally and the Ferretti Group have announced that they will stage the world premiere of the wallypower50 at Boot Düsseldorf from January 20-28, 2024. The wallypower50 serves as a link between the more open style of the wallytenders (43, 48) and the more spacious wallypower 58.

The model’s clean lines and stem design reflect the iconic style of the larger wallypower – and predecessors such as the 118 wallypower – although the wallypower50 can also be specified with the wraparound fender of the wallytenders. An extensive options list allows it to be a chase boat, dayboat or whatever owners choose.

The wallypower50 comes with two separate sunbeds, which increases the use of space on deck, particularly with the wings opened creating an additional 6sqm of aft deck space. The covered cockpit area provides ample seating for eight guests under the coachroof plus four more on two forward-facing bench seats.

Below deck is a large, open space plus a comfortable bathroom with separate shower, a large couch and a double bed. Natural light comes from above and through the optional addition of Wally’s ‘magic portholes’ in the hull.

With a deep-V hull and two Volvo Penta IPS650 engines, the yacht can top 36 knots and cruise at 30 while offering easy joystick handling with optional DPS in close-quarters manoeuvres. The X version with four 400hp Mercury outboards can reach 48 knots while offering a 240nm range, and even top 50 knots with the option of four 500hp versions.
