The fast-growing Finnish brand has premiered the 400 GTC, the enclosed sister model of the 400 GTO that debuted last year.

Saxdor staged the world premiere of the 400 GTC at Boot Düsseldorf, where the Finnish brand showed the new model alongside the 400 GTO that had its world premiere at last year’s Cannes Yachting Festival.
Featuring an overall length of 40ft 8in and a beam of 11ft 6in, the Saxdor 400 GTC was designed by Sakari Mattila, who founded the company as well as Aquador, Paragon, XO and Axopar.
The second version of Saxdor’s 400 platform is a more enclosed version of the model and is offered with 700-800hp of power through two outboard engines, such as the twin 400hp Mercury V10s fitted on the hull shown in Dusseldorf.
On the 400 GTC, the yacht’s wheelhouse extends full beam, like on the GTO, but with the sides sealed by insulated glazing. The wheelhouse provides a 360-degree transparent protection and has a glass door aft.

The model has a new glass transom forward of the twin outboards and has the long lateral terraces seen on the GTO, which provide plenty of outdoor space and increase the ease of circulation around the boat.
Furniture includes a central aft sunpad, an L-shaped sofa and a foldable table to starboard, and a two-seat sofa and galley to starboard. The helm station is to starboard, while the port side has access to the foredeck, which features a U-shaped sofa and a foldable table.
The lower deck has a forward double cabin with head as well as a midships double cabin, each accessed by separate stairs. It’s also possible to add a third berth for children.
Saxdor is now developing a new flagship, the 460 GTC, as well as the 320 GTWA, the fourth edition of the Saxdor 320, which is also available in GTO, GTC and GT versions. The company’s dealers in Asia include Pacific Leisure Boat in Hong Kong, Xtreme Machines in Singapore and Malaysia, and Motor Field in Thailand.
