Sunseeker International, represented in Asia-Pacific by DCH Marine, has announced that Cross Ocean Partners and Cheyne Capital have formally become the British shipyard’s owners and shareholders following the successful completion of the ownership transfer process.
Scott Millar is set to become the company’s Chief Executive Officer in October, succeeding Interim CEO Steve Timms, who will then revert to his former role as Chief Operating Officer.
Millar first joined Sunseeker through Teneo in December 2025, having been engaged to support the development of the company’s ambitious five-year growth plan following the departure of Andrea Frabetti, who had been CEO since July 2019.
With more than 27 years’ experience in business transformation and operational improvement, Millar has held a range of senior executive positions including CEO and Chief Transformation Officer across multiple international industries.
Millar said: “Sunseeker is one of the most admired names in the marine industry, with an extraordinary heritage, an exceptional product range and an incredibly talented team. I especially want to thank Steve [Timms] for his exceptional work and leadership, and I look forward to working together again over the coming months and years.
“What attracted me most to Sunseeker was the scale of opportunity ahead. We have a clear vision, ambitious plans for growth and the full support of our shareholders to invest in the brand, our people and our products. I am honoured to lead the business into this next chapter and excited about what we can achieve together for our customers.”
As well as Millar as CEO, Sunseeker has appointed Andy Gawthorpe as Chief Commercial Officer, Ian Morgan as Chief Strategy Officer, James Grove as Chief Information Officer and Adrian Mardell as Non-Executive Chairman.
