The Silent-Yachts facility in Fano

Silent-Yachts has become the sole shareholder of its Italian production site, which is located in Fano on the country’s Adriatic coast. The Austrian-owned company produces its Silent 60 and Silent 80 series of models at the shipyard.

The site includes five construction sheds with 22,000sqm of covered space and a similar amount of outdoor area. The new range of electric Silent-Tenders will also be produced at the Fano facility, which includes an Innovation Centre for researching and developing new models, technologies and solutions.

The Fano site covers over four hectares

Michael Köhler, founder and CEO of Silent-Yachts, said: “Our acquisition of the facility in Fano is a great opportunity for the city and for the nautical sector in the area. By later this year, we will employ approximately 250 people, both directly and indirectly, and we have expansion plans already under discussion to increase the production capacity of our sites and acquire new ones.”

Silent-Yachts also builds in Turkey following a partnership with VisionF Yachting (click for more), the catamaran builder created in 2019 by Coşkun Bayraktar, founder of the Viaport Group.
