The Turkish builder has extended and redesigned the 45XP to create the 47MXP, a 153ft ‘Mediterranean Explorer’.
The 47MXP has an overall length of 46.7m
Numarine – represented in Asia-Pacific by Camper & Nicholsons – has revealed designs and details of the 47MXP, which retains the hull and 9.25m beam of the 45XP while extending the yacht’s overall length to 46.7m.
‘MXP’ stands for Mediterranean Explorer and the 47MXP’s design combines the Turkish shipyard’s renowned emphasis on explorer styling and range with the beach-club lifestyle typical of Med yachts. Numarine’s first such design was the 40MXP, which is a development on the 37XP and scheduled to launch this year.
Redesigned beach club area
Ömer Malaz, Chairman of Numarine, said: “This enhancement represents a significant step in our philosophy of blending adventure with unparalleled comfort.”
Designed to be constructed with a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, the 47MXP offers four decks and 498GT of volume. Powered by twin 1,450hp MAN engines, the yacht is expected to have a top speed of 16 knots, cruise comfortably at 12 knots and have a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 9 knots.
Saloon on the main deck
The proposed design includes two swimming pools, one on the foredeck and one as part of a redesigned aft and beach club area with drop-down sides, part of Numarine’s quest to bring owners and guests closer to the water.
The open aft half of the upper deck has been allocated for tender storage or outdoor sports and includes a crane, while the covered sundeck is equipped with a bar and multiple seating areas.
Master suite on the main deck
Hot Lab, part of the Viken Group, is responsible for the interior design. The layout includes a luxurious lounge zone designed to create “an intimate, resort-like atmosphere perfect for relaxation and entertainment”. The interior also includes up to six guest cabins, led by a main-deck owner’s suite with a forward-facing bed and a private terrace.
