Benetti completed the dramatic slipway launch of Fortitude¹, the latest unit in its Class 44M line, at its Viareggio shipyard. Fortitude¹ is the owner’s second Benetti superyacht and delivery is expected later this summer following the completion of final outfitting.
Daniela Petrozzi, Benetti’s Sales Director, said: “The launch of Fortitude¹ is the perfect example of our shipyard’s ability to interpret and translate the owners’ dream into tangible projects, delivering a Benetti that, in every detail, is an extension of their personality.

“Benetti is synonymous with quality, heritage and innovation, and that is why the owner has chosen us once again. The trust that clients place in us is a great source of pride.”
Designed inside and out by Cassetta Yacht Designers, the Class 44M is the largest fibreglass yacht produced by Benetti. The model offers a cruising range of 4,100nm at 11 knots and can host up to 10 guests in five cabins, as well as five cabins for nine crew.

A standout feature on the Class 44M is the 102sqm sundeck, which features a shaded hardtop. Fortitude¹ has also been designed with some custom elements specifically for her owner, including a large, tailor-made sunpad on the upper deck. These touches reflect the owner’s overall desire of “experiencing the sea” while on board, according to the yard.
This vision is also conveyed through the generous use of glass surfaces throughout the design, allowing natural light to fill the entertaining areas on the main deck and in the panoramic skylounge.
