The Italian shipyard’s latest B.Now 50M motoryacht, designed by RWD, has been launched and named XWave.
Benetti has launched its latest B.Now 50M, with the new hull featuring the Oasis Deck option and pictures revealing her name to be XWave. Built under the project name FB615, the 50m motoryacht will be ready for cruising and delivered to her new owners “later this summer”, according to Benetti.
The four-deck vessel features a sleek profile with a raked bow and a distinctive stripe of orange paint across her hull. Construction on the steel and aluminium yacht began two years ago, with the interior and exterior designs customised to the owners’ preferences by British studio RWD.
Amy Whitaker, RWD’s lead designer on the project, commented: “Working on the interiors of FB615 has been an exciting journey. The synergy we created with the clients and Benetti enabled us to develop a unique interior that is a canvas designed to evolve over time.”
According to Benetti, the onboard areas of XWave were designed to create “a stylish harmony between interior and exterior spaces”, resulting in “an immersive, continuous experience between indoor environments and the sea”.
This vision is notably present on the main deck, which features a seamless transition from the main saloon towards the signature Oasis Deck, which is equipped with a waterside pool and fold-out wings that expand the space to cover 116sqm.
Offering just under 500GT of volume, XWave also has a 100sqm sundeck for alfresco entertaining. The yacht can host up to 12 guests in six cabins, as well as 10 crew members.
Daniela Petrozzi, Benetti’s Sales Director, commented: “Together with RWD, whose deep understanding of the B.Now philosophy made them the ideal partner for this project, we crafted a yacht that not only meets but exceeds the owner’s expectations.”
As the owner’s representative, brokerage house Burgess also worked closely on the project. Barry Gray, Technical Representative at Burgess, stated: “The enormous success of the B.Now series reflects how this RWD design exceptionally delivers on the desires and needs of today’s modern yacht buyer.”
Powered by Benetti’s E-Mode hybrid propulsion system, XWave has a cruising range of 4,500nm at 10 knots.
