The boutique Dutch builder is showing the full-custom Lady Lene superyacht and the first Edge 65, a 40-knot speedster.
The 34m Lady Lene
Van der Valk is exhibiting the 34m Lady Lene and the Edge 65 at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (October 30-November 3), the world’s biggest in-water boat show. Available for exclusive tours onboard, the Dutch builder’s award-winning yachts are located at booths A-121 and A-126.
Custom built for her owners by Van der Valk, a leader in bespoke superyachts from 80-150ft, the all-aluminium Lady Lene is fully ADA-compliant for wheelchair accessibility and features a fast-displacement hull, wave-piercing bow and Hull Vane transom wing.
Carla Guilhem designed Lady Lene’s interior
Lady Lene followed up a special commendation at the 2022 World Superyacht Awards by winning a 2023 Boat Design & Innovation Award, with Van der Valk and Carla Guilhem Design receiving the prestigious Neptune trophy for Best Interior Design.
The Edge 65, also featuring a Guilhem interior, was launched in 2023 and later that year won the Custom Yacht category at the World Yacht Trophies during the Cannes Yachting Festival.
The first Edge 65
The first Van der Valk yacht to feature a Petestep hull, the 19.6m motoryacht features naval architecture by Studio Delta and exterior design by Cor D. Rover, and has a top speed of 40 knots. Van der Valk is currently building the second Edge 65, which has a different interior design.
