Taiwan prepares to welcome the global yachting community to Kaohsiung for the 2026 Taiwan International Boat Show from November 13-15.
The 2024 Taiwan International Boat Show attracted more than 14,073 visitors from 42 countries
The Taiwan International Boat Show returns to Kaohsiung from November 13-15, bringing together world-class yachts, leading international brands and dealerships, and Taiwan’s renowned yacht-building expertise across four marina and harbour locations in the southern port city. Online registration is open for industry professionals and visitors to the biennial event.
Recognised as Asia’s premier builder of large yachts, and placing fourth (total length) in the 2026 Global Order Book for 24m-plus yachts, Taiwan has a strong reputation in the international market, particularly in the construction of superyachts. With Kaohsiung at the heart of its yacht-building industry, TIBS offers an opportunity to experience this expertise at its source.
Grand domestic showcase
TIBS 2026 takes place across four established yacht and harbour facilities in Kaohsiung: Horizon City Marina, Kha Shing Pier 22 Marina, Argo Marina and Basin No 3.

Each location is set to contribute to a comprehensive display of the yachting and marine industry, allowing visitors to explore everything from complete yachts and sailing boats to yacht components, smart marine electronics, and advanced navigation systems, on-water and underwater unmanned vehicles, marine leisure products, and a wide range of yacht-related services.
These elements highlight Taiwan’s strength in the industry – from yacht construction and naval architecture to precision parts supply – showcasing its position as a global hub for high-end yacht production.
More than 70 yachts are expected to gather across the four venues, from luxury motoryachts and sailing yachts to smaller leisure craft, creating a rare opportunity to experience Taiwan’s maritime world at close range.
Global brands join Taiwanese builders
TIBS 2026 will bring together an impressive mix of international marques as well as Taiwanese yacht builders. Local representatives will present renowned European brands that include Sanlorenzo, Ferretti and Princess, giving visitors the opportunity to experience models from some of the world’s most respected shipyards.
TIBS 2026 organisers expect more than 70 vessels to be displayed
Taiwanese builder Johnson Yachts will showcase the craftsmanship and engineering capabilities that have made Taiwan a leading force in the global large-yacht market.
The show plans to extend beyond conventional yacht displays, offering a glimpse into next-generation marine technology.
Unmanned vessels reflect the growing interest in autonomous marine applications, with examples from Corum Yachts Taiwan, and the Taiwanese government-funded maritime and naval architecture research institute, the Ship and Ocean Industries R&D Center (SOIC) comes the THETIS Smart Vessel, featuring Taiwan-developed intelligent navigation and AI-powered decision-making technology.
Interactive waterfront experience
TIBS is designed to be more than a visual display. Selected boats will be available for guests to step aboard and explore their design, interiors and onboard lifestyle at close range. Additional activities include VIP sea trials, international industry networking and shipyard visits for invited buyers and guests, providing a deeper look into Taiwan’s yacht-building capabilities.

Beyond the moorings, TIBS offers an opportunity to experience Kaohsiung itself – a vibrant harbour city with waterfront culture, dining, art and leisure options.
Your next-yacht destination
The 2026 edition follows the success of TIBS 2024, which welcomed 14,073 visitors from 42 countries, including 518 international buyers and 56 companies exhibiting 77 yachts.
As Taiwan continues to strengthen its position in the global yacht industry, TIBS provides an increasingly important meeting point between Taiwan’s world-class builders, international brands, buyers and the wider yachting community.
