Simpson Yacht Management, a division of Simpson Marine, has expanded its services across the region to China, Singapore and Indonesia. Simpson Marine has offices in seven countries and regions across Asia and its yacht management services have traditionally centred on its operations in Hong Kong and its Phuket base in Thailand.

However, as the fleet under management in Hong Kong has grown, so have the requirements elsewhere for management services, which is now offered in its southern China hubs of Sanya and Shenzhen, as well as in Singapore and Indonesia where it has operations in Bali and Jakarta. There are now nearly 45 yachts under Simpson Yacht Management across Asia.

“Simpson Yacht Management is set up to manage all yachts sold at Simpson Marine to our yacht owners including Sanlorenzo yachts, Beneteau yachts, Lagoon catamarans, Aquila power catamarans and Fairline motor yachts,” said Reanna Wang, Group Charter Manager and Yacht Management. “We’re proud the whole fleet under Simpson Marine’s care and management is growing so fast and our team is expanding as a result.”

In Hong Kong alone, the Simpson Yacht Management fleet includes 17 Sanlorenzo yachts, which has led to additional business among owners of other large yachts.

“The quality of services on offer has attracted additional clientele,” Wang says. “We take care of a few bigger pre-owned yachts on request of their owners who have seen the extensive, dedicated services delivered to Sanlorenzo yachts in our fleet.”

The company has also benefited from a collaboration with The Peninsula Hong Kong for a special training programme for hostesses and yacht crew. “The partnership with The Peninsula ensures the level of service on board is up to highest possible standards,” Wang says.

Simpson Yacht Management services include registration, insurance, crew recruitment and management, monthly reports, service and technical support, soft furnishings, water toys training and elite concierge services including organising private events.
