Sanlorenzo 50Steel Almax joins charter fleet
SHARE
Almax, the first Sanlorenzo 50Steel, is cruising around the Mediterranean for her first charter season.
Sanlorenzo’s first 50Steel, Almax, is now available to charter in the Mediterranean. The 50m motoryacht is managed by the Sanlorenzo Charter Fleet with a weekly rate starting from €320,000.
Almax is currently open for summer 2025 bookings on itineraries around the Italian island of Sicily (July 3-10 and August 20-27), followed by a cruise between Naples and Monaco in early autumn (September 6-21).
Delivered by Sanlorenzo in 2024 to a design by Zuccon International Project, Almax has been described by Sanlorenzo CEO Massimo Perotti – owner of Almax – as “a milestone in our journey towards carbon neutrality, reflecting our commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility”.
Almax is considered a game-changer in the charter market as the world’s first superyacht to feature the revolutionary Fuel Cell system developed by Siemens Energy. This system allows the motoryacht to transform green methanol into hydrogen, which can then generate up to 100kW of power.
At the small expense of reducing the size of the master suite to make way for the Fuel Cell system in the bow, Almax can be operated almost completely emission-free, making her a prime choice for eco-conscious charter guests. The full-beam master suite still has room for a private office and double dressing rooms.
Almax’s interiors by Lissoni & Partners can accommodate up to 10 guests and nine crew, and offer all the amenities expected on modern superyachts.
Highlights across her five decks include a shaded sundeck with a jacuzzi, a personal gym and a 135sqm beach club with a second dipping pool and direct access to the sea.
To further enhance the charter experience, Almax carries a fleet of water toys including a BG42 chase boat, jet-skis, paddleboards, a Seabob and bicycles for exploring her charter destinations on shore.
