Lo Rider is a one-off gentleman’s launch, lying in Hong Kong
Camper & Nicholsons Asia has been appointed the Central Agency for the sale of Lo Rider, a custom-built gentleman’s fast launch lying in Hong Kong with an asking price of €1.5 million (about US$1.8 million).
Designed by Frank Mulder and built in the Netherlands, the 75ft 5in motor yacht was created for a very experienced serial yacht owner “obsessed with originality in design” and delivered in 2009. Powered by twin 1,100hp MAN engines, Lo Rider can reach 43 knots and has a range of 400nm.
“Crafted in aluminium with teak decks, her retro look resembles a VIP commuter launch from a bygone era,” Camper & Nicholsons stated. “Capable of accommodating up to four guests, Lo Rider is beautifully finished inside and out for the most pleasurable of cruises.”
Central steps from the swim platform lead up to large sunbathing areas that connect to seating around two tables that face an aft-facing sofa.
Two steps lead up to a small, protected ‘flybridge’ which features a covered central helm station aft of a cosy, curved seating area around an oblong table.
The side decks lead forward to a large, raised sunbathing area ,a forward-facing sofa and a clear deck area in the bow.
The interior includes a saloon with masses of seating, plus a guest cabin and a master stateroom forward. Tender stowage is available.
Camper & Nicholsons concluded: “Lo Rider can be used in a variety of ways depending on her next owner’s preferences such as a megayacht tender able to ferry guests over longer distances ashore or to optional destinations, a weekender for a gentleman owner and family, or a perfect commuter yacht.”
