Yachts shine at Gold Coast Motor Festival

A Sanlorenzo S106A was the largest yacht at the Gold Coast Motor Festival, where Absolute, Azimut, Beneteau, Capoforte, Fairline and Saxdor models were on display.

An impressive fleet of yachts provided an added attraction at this year’s Gold Coast Motor Festival, as boats were included in the event for the first time. Hong Kong Gold Coast celebrated its 30th anniversary.

Simpson Marine displayed a Sanlorenzo SL106A superyacht, which was the biggest yacht on show, and exhibited opposite a Sanlorenzo SL78 flybridge motor yacht. Asia’s largest yacht dealer also displayed a Fairline Squadron 50 flybridge motor yacht and two Beneteau Gran Turismo cruisers, with a 41 and 45 lined up side by side.

Marine Italia, which represents Azimut in Hong Kong, Macau, Guangdong province, Taiwan and Singapore, showed three Azimut models: the S6 sportfly (59ft) and Fly 60 and Fly 68 flybridge motor yachts.

Representing Absolute in Hong Kong, Absolute Marine showed the 58 Fly, Navetta 58 and Navetta 73 flybridge motor yachts by the inland Italian builder.

A Capoforte CX240 day boat from Italy was displayed by NextWave Yachting, while other boats on show included a Saxdor 270 GTO by dealer Pacific Leisure Boat.
