Fraser: Brokerage sales rise in number and value

The superyacht industry starts 2026 in buoyant mood after a solid rise in brokerage sales last year – and record charter bookings for Fraser.

In Fraser’s Market Intelligence report in Yacht Style Issue 87, the superyacht brokerage house explained and illustrated reasons for confidence in the market, after the industry’s 2025 figures outperformed 2024 in many ways, as illustrated in the sales figures above and bar chart below.

Anders Kurtén, Fraser’s CEO, stated: “As our data shows, 2025 saw a significant increase in the total value of sales across both motor and sailing yachts on 2024, even while the average LOA changed little. In terms of size segments, the strongest increases were in the 50-65m and 24-30m sectors.

“From a more global perspective, insightful in-depth reports revealed various shifts in the patterns and geography of global wealth, including a surge in self-made billionaires in 2025.”

Kurtén revealed that 2025 was a particularly good year for Fraser across multiple segments including sales, charter and yacht management.

“We closed 2025 looking back on a healthy year for Fraser and for yachting in general. We recorded our best-ever charter season, with over 6,650 days enjoyed by charterers. Our Yacht Management department is now entrusted with over 130 yachts, more than ever before,” Kurtén wrote.

“And for the 15th consecutive year, more people bought and sold yachts with Fraser than with any other company – 35 per cent more than the closest competitor.

“We were also very proud to announce the appointment of Asiamarine, a representative of Fraser, as the authorised central sales agent for Baglietto in Asia. We look forward to introducing more clients to yachts and yachting in 2026.”
