Fort Lauderdale show to host world and US debuts

Sunreef and Aquila are among multihull exhibitors at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, while Gulf Craft, Sunseeker, Fairline and Pearl confirm their displays.
Sol, the second 80 Sunreef Power Eco
Sunreef Yachts will stage the world premiere of Sol, the second 80 Sunreef Power Eco, at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from October 25-29. As well as the US debut of the 80 Sunreef Power Eco – hull three was used for the model’s world premiere at last month’s Cannes Yachting Festival – the Polish luxury catamaran builder will also exhibit a Sunreef 80 sailing cat, Seaclusion.
Sunreef 80
Named after the Norse sun goddess, Sol featured as the cover story of YACHT STYLE Issue 72. The gold-coloured, eco-friendly powercat was recently described by Sunreef as having the biggest battery bank among sub-24m leisure craft, with the almost 1mW hour of energy powered by composite-integrated solar panels, giving the powercat e-motoring autonomy for close to 300nm.
Aquila 47 Molokai
Aquila, the world’s leading producer of powercats from 28-70ft, will host the global debut of the four-engine, one-cabin 47 Molokai, which tops 50 knots and joins the 28 Molokai among the brand’s powerful Offshore range of fishing boats. The Aquila display will be in the purple zone at Bahia Mar.
Meanwhile, Australia’s ILIAD Catamarans will have a booth in the Yacht Builders Tent in the Bahia Mer Yachting Center.
Sunseeker Ocean 182
Sunseeker will stage the US debut of the Predator 75 following the model’s debut at last month’s Southampton International Boat Show. The British builder will also show the Ocean 182 enclosed-flybridge model edition following its premiere at last month’s Newport International Boat Show, along with a 90 Ocean, 88 Yacht, Manhattan 68, Predator 65 and Manhattan 55.
Fairline Phantom 65
Fairline’s line-up will include the US debut of the Phantom 65, the first model in its new sportbridge series, as well as the high-speed F//Line 33 day boat, Targa 45 Open and Targa 50 GT cruisers, and Squadron 50 flybridge model. Pearl, another British brand, will showcase its full range, comprising the 62, new 72 (Review, Issue 73) and flagship 95, while also previewing its upcoming 82 due in 2024.
Gulf Craft Majesty 111
Among superyachts, Gulf Craft will stage the US debut of its new Majesty 111, while Camper & Nicholsons is displaying Eurus, hull 10 of the Benetti’s successful Mediterraneo 116’ series.
