Following a sale secured by Asiamarine, the Lagoon 60 will embark on a voyage from the Mediterranean to Thailand.
Asiamarine has announced the first sale of a new Lagoon 60 sailing catamaran in Asia-Pacific region following a purchase by an owner based in Thailand.
The Lagoon 60 transaction was completed in mid-March during the Lagoon Exclusive Days in Bordeaux, where the shipyard named Asiamarine as Asia Pacific Best Dealer 2025 during the international dealers meeting.
The Lagoon 60 owner will take delivery of the yacht at the Bordeaux shipyard and plans to navigate the Mediterranean before embarking on a long-range passage to bring the vessel home to Thailand, home to an annual Lagoon Escapade event organised by Asiamarine.
Alexandre Tricot, Lagoon Brand Manager at Asiamarine, stated: “Lagoon has long been the benchmark for catamarans in Thailand, favoured for its volume and reliability in our tropical waters. The sale of the first Lagoon 60 in the region is a pivotal moment. It signals a shift toward larger, more sophisticated yachts that offer true transoceanic autonomy.
“We are grateful for the trust our owners and partners place in us to facilitate these global journeys. Their confidence inspires us to keep raising the bar in yacht sales and service.”
The ambitious maiden voyage highlights the owner’s trust in the Lagoon 60’s offshore capabilities. With a hull design optimised for stability and comfort for extended range, the yacht is engineered to handle the varied sea states encountered during a multi-continent transit.
The yacht’s features include an open aft deck, drop-down bulwarks on each side of the cockpit and a saloon door to the foredeck.
