The year’s sixth and final issue features Top 100 Superyachts of Asia-Pacific: 2021 Edition.
Yacht Style has published its annual ‘Superyacht Issue’, spearheaded by the 2021 edition of Top 100 Superyachts of Asia-Pacific. The 136m Lurssen Flying Fox – the world’s biggest charter yacht – again tops the list and is followed by several other 100m-plus builds including our cover star Lana, which debuts in the top five following the delivery of the 107m Benetti over the summer.
Joining Flying Fox in Imperial’s central agency charter fleet, Lana is also expected to charter in the Indian Ocean over the northern winter as profiled in our special Charter feature in Issue 55. Imperial also manages the 106m Amadea, which is in the UAE and among the wide range of yachts profiled in REVIEW.
Azimut’s new Magellano 25 Metri is among them after gaining a lot of attention around the world, from a private Azimut-Benetti gathering in Portofino to her world premiere at the Genoa International Boat Show and US debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
Hong Kong remains a thriving market for all sizes and is staging the Asia premieres of both the Galeon 400 Fly motor yacht and Bali Catspace Sail catamaran, while the city will welcome the region’s first order for the new Absolute Navetta 64 in late 2021. All three models are covered in REVIEW.
Beneteau’s new Oceanis Yacht 54 is also covered in REVIEW, while the brand’s other recent sailing yacht launch, the Oceanis 40. 1, made its Asia-Pacific debut in October as part of the three-day Boating Rendezvous in Sydney showcasing models from Beneteau, Lagoon and Excess.
In LEADER, Fairline COO Peter McNulty speaks to Yacht Style about the how the British builder is driving forward with exciting designs, major new interactive online platforms and fresh investment, while Marine Italia’s stunning Azimut sales in Asia are covered in PROFILE.
This issue includes not one but two exclusive features in OWNER, interviewing owners who have used their Galeon 500 Fly motor yacht and Lagoon 46 sailing catamaran regularly in Hong Kong this year.
WATERFRONT covers Silent Resorts, which is launching its first yacht-and-villa retreat in the Caribbean. Plugging into the solar technology developed by Silent-Yachts for its catamarans, the new company is looking to grow a global network of eco-friendly holiday destinations and has Asia in its sights.
A packed LUXURY section includes stunning fashion spreads from Asia and Europe, an interview with Singapore-based artist Mojoko, and a special feature on Rolex’s new Oyster Perpetual Submariner, built to conquer the deep and now reaching new heights of craftsmanship.
Surprisingly, there’s still plenty to enjoy in EVENTS, which covers happenings from Portofino and Sydney to Phuket, Keelung and Ho Chi Minh City.
