In Bali, the fast-growing dealership hosted over 100 VIPs for a two-day “immersive introduction to Indonesia’s luxury yachting potential”.
Yacht Sourcing recently hosted a lavish two-day event entitled ‘A Voyage of Elegance’ at the Black Stone Yacht Club Benoa in Bali, the latest highlight of the Indonesian dealership’s remarkable 2024.
The exclusive gathering in Benoa introduced over 100 VIP guests to the luxury sailing lifestyle, and was held in collaboration with partners including Fountaine Pajot, Al Dhaen, Yanmar – among brands represented by Yacht Sourcing – as well as The Apurva Kempinski and Pelindo, the government-owned company providing maritime and port services.
The first day of A Voyage of Elegance included a gala dinner featuring a “world-class culinary and jazz experience”, with Jean Baptiste Natali, a Michelin-starred chef, curating an exceptional array of dishes for the evening spectacle.
Guests also enjoyed a fashion showcase featuring collections from Cap Bali, jewellery from Komang Tri and bags from Button Scarves. The evening continued well into the night, with Indonesia’s social and business elite conversing and networking, set against the serene backdrop of Bali’s ocean views.
The second day was dedicated to an exclusive yacht experience featuring Fountaine Pajot, one of the world’s leading brands of sailing and power catamarans. Kevin Corfa, Head of Fountaine Pajot and Dufour in Asia, was among VIPs attending the event.
Guests had the opportunity to board and explore the French builder’s premium cats, “experiencing their luxurious interiors, spacious decks and cutting-edge features tailored for tropical sailing”, Yacht Sourcing stated.
The hands-on experience allowed guests new to yachting to envision the thrill of cruising across Indonesia’s stunning archipelago, “providing a true taste of the freedom and elegance that comes with luxury yachting”.
Founded by CEO Boum Senous in 2016, Yacht Sourcing has an expansive new yacht portfolio, and the company’s suite of services includes charter, yacht management and refits, plus phinisi construction at its Sulawesi shipyard. Senous said A Voyage of Elegance was timely, on the back of the recent announcement that a 180-berth marina in Bali is under construction, with the first phase set to open in 2025.

“Our goal is to increase accessibility and awareness of these destinations, inviting guests from around the world to experience Indonesia’s treasures,” Senous said. “A Voyage of Elegance is just the beginning of a long-term commitment to showcase Indonesia as a premier maritime destination.”
Senous highlighted the unique features of Indonesia’s regions, from Alor’s seasonal blue whale sightings to the unique ecosystem of Komodo, known for its famous Komodo dragons.
“Indonesia’s natural beauty is unrivalled, from the dramatic landscapes of Komodo to the tranquil waters of Raja Ampat and Lake Toba. We want to make these unique destinations accessible to high-end travellers, both international and domestic. By enhancing infrastructure and developing luxury offerings, we can unlock Indonesia’s true potential in the global tourism market.”
It has been an action-packed 2024 for Yacht Sourcing, which this year has announced representation of the Majesty and Nomad brands by Gulf Craft (UAE), Rizzardi (Italy), Yanmar (Japan), Al Dhaen (Bahrain) and most recently Saxdor (Finland).
Yacht Sourcing is also the Indonesia dealer for Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans and Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts (France), Dufour sailing monohulls (France), as well as RIB/dinghy builders Senous (Indonesia), Takacat (New Zealand) and Polycraft (Australia).
