The third edition of World Boating Day will take place on May 23, with connected events happening from May 18-24.
Maritime organisations and business planning to participate in World Boating Day 2026 can now register their interest, until March 31. The third edition of World Boating Day will take place on May 23, with connected events taking place during the week of May 18-24.
Created by The Superyacht Life Foundation in 2024, World Boating Day connects the global leisure boating industry through a non-profit campaign that includes events such as business open days, boat shows, sailing regattas and seminars. According to The Superyacht Life Foundation Executive Director Dilan Sarac, “the enthusiasm from the global boating community is palpable” for the 2026 edition.
“This year, we’re inviting even more people to discover boating, maritime culture and the incredible opportunities connected to life on the water,” Sarac explained. “With sailing schools and maritime museums joining the initiative, World Boating Day continues to evolve into an unforgettable global moment for the industry and the public alike.”
Organisations that have already confirmed their involvement in this year’s event through early registration include Bilgin Yachts, Camper & Nicholsons, Cantiere Rossini, Capsea Yachting, Maritime UK, Mengi Yay Yachts, Royal Huisman and Septemar, as well as Pier Sixty-Six marina in Florida and Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) in Australia.
Corey Rattray-Wood, Head of Events at Mulpha Events, organiser of SCIBS, said: “With World Boating Day landing on the show’s biggest day, Saturday, it creates a powerful moment to connect the global boating community with Australia’s premier on-water showcase.
“Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show continues to strengthen its position as a must-attend global boating event, and our alignment with World Boating Day reinforces that international focus.”
