Tiong Nam Hospitality Group announces new Pinetree Marina & Resort

The group is set to make waves in the luxury yachting world with a strategic expansion into the marina sector.
The new state-of-the-art marina is ideally situated for boaters touring the region’s prime waterways
The Tiong Nam Hospitality Group recently unveiled plans to integrate a state-of-the-art marina into its Pinetree Marina & Resort at Puteri Harbour, Johor. It has been managing the 107-room resort since 2018.
Facilities will include modern, secure berths designed to accommodate a wide range of boats, from small to luxury vessels.The expansion features a 76-berth public marina, with future plans for exclusive private yacht and megayacht marinas.
The marina will house a customs, immigration, and quarantine complex and amenities including 24-hour CCTV security, fuel docks and laundry services.
Strategically located just west along the coast from Johor Bahru, on the southern tip of peninsular Malaysia, very close to Singapore and with easy access to major maritime corridors, Pinetree Marina & Resort is set to become a premier destination for yachting enthusiasts and luxury travellers in the region.
Johnny Lau, who is Senior General Manager for Tiong Nam Hospitality Group, which also manages Hard Rock Cafe Puteri Harbour, Hard Rock Cafe Ipoh, Fraser Place Puteri Harbour and the upcoming 1975 Hotel and Avenue, among others, said the marina’s strategic location would provide easy access to Southeast Asia’s maritime corridors, making it an ideal starting point for boaters from Phuket, Langkawi, Pangkor Island, Kota Kinabalu, and Singapore.
