Not only is it back, but Kaohsiung hosts the first TIBS all-outdoor event, from November 28 to December 1, 2024.
For the first time, TIBS is featuring all-outdoor exhibitions
After six long years, the Taiwan International Boat Show 2024 (TIBS) returns from November 28 to December 1, in Kaohsiung. It will host its first all-outdoor exhibition that will provide a unique experience for exhibitors and visitors alike, and present yachts from a new perspective that will look to create opportunities for the yacht industry.
Known as the “Kingdom of the Yacht”, in recent years, Taiwan has definitely been one of the top yacht-building centres, being the top-ranked export in Asia, and fourth worldwide.
Horizon City Marina is one of the TIBS’s main exhibition areas
More than 60 yachts are registered to be exhibited at the show, including superyachts from Taiwan along with globally-known manufacturers such as Ocean Alexander, Horizon Yachts, and Monte Fino.
Among the other notable local builders are Hylas Yachts, Johnson Yachts and Grand Harbour Yachts presenting large- and medium-sized yachts. The exhibitors will bring yachts of all shapes and sizes – not just from the domestic market, but also from around the world – to create a global gathering of yachting legends at TIBS in 2024.
The new Basin No. 3 Marina will debut during TIBS
Being in the hub of Taiwan’s yacht industry, Kaohsiung, at the island’s south is the ideal place to hold TIBS. To accommodate yachts of different sizes, four marina areas – Horizon City Marina, Kha Shing Pier 22 Marina, Argo Marina and Basin No. 3 – will share the spotlight and bring the region’s and world’s yachting community together.
Horizon City Marina and Kha Shing Pier 22 Marina are operated by the world-renowned yacht manufacturers Horizon Yachts and Monte Fino Yachts, respectively. These will be the main highlight areas of the show.
Argo Marina is one of the newest in Kaohsiung
Argo Marina and Basin No. 3 are the newest marinas in Kaohsiung, offering berths for small- and medium-sized yachts. Basin No. 3 is actually making its grand debut at TIBS, allowing visitors of all nationalities to witness its atmosphere and services firsthand.
While the marinas will showcase docked yachts, the land exhibitors offer a different perspective on the industry for buyers and visitors, displaying yacht production materials, yachting and marina management services, and boating-related industries such as water sports and recreation with marine equipment, licensing, yachting clubs, and related accessories. Together, all exhibitors will provide a comprehensive view across all aspects of the yachting industry. Additionally, TIBS is holding VIP events such as a grand opening party and the chance for watercraft activities, including yacht rides.

These activities allow attendees to meet like-minded visitors, gain a deeper understanding of Taiwan’s yachting industry, and discover why the island is a world-class destination for yacht sales and services.
This year’s event promises yachting and marine displays and activities to bring a unique experience that will further enhance Taiwan’s yachting and marine industry. Visitor registration for TIBS 2024 is now open.
