Sixth Amels 60 superyacht launches in Holland

The 60m hull is now undergoing final outfitting at the Damen Yachting yard until ready for delivery at the end of 2024

Damen Yachting recently announced the launch of the latest Amels 60, or hull 6006, the sixth yacht from the next-generation 60m (197ft) Amels Limited Editions design that took place in Vlissingen at the main Amels facility in Holland.
The Amels 60 Limited Editions showcases a forward-thinking design based on the solid foundation of craftsmanship and the proven platform of Damen Yachting’s naval architecture. The exterior design is the work of naval architect Espen Øino, combining experience, elegance and innovation.

The custom interiors of this Amels 60 are done by Winch Design, the design studio appointed by the owner. Following the launch, this Amels 60 will undergo her final outfitting at the Damen Yachting yard until ready for delivery at the end of 2024.
“It’s always an exciting moment to see the yacht coming out of the shed in all her glory,” said Damen Yachting’s Project Manager Paul Deurloo. “The spectacular colour of this hull will certainly stand out!”

Since its initial introduction in 2019, the Amels 60 has been winning awards and making headlines worldwide with its next-generation design and captivating bespoke interior options. The Amels 60 + 80 Limited Editions New Wave won this year’s Asia Style Award for Superyachts in the 60-80m category.
The Amels 60 has a top speed of 15.5 knots, and a cruising range of 4,500 nautical miles at a speed of 13 knots. It can accommodate up to 12 guests, as well as the captain and 12 crew.
