The Australian builder has sold the second hull of its Silver World Explorer series to an Asia-based client.
Silver Yachts, based in the Australian Marine Complex south of Perth, is scheduled to deliver the 85m Globalfast to an Asia-based client this summer. Globalfast is the second hull of the Silver World Explorer series following the 85m Bold and “will share the title of the world’s longest and fastest aluminium explorer yacht”, according to the builder.
Globalfast has a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots, while features include a 24/7 commercial helipad, helicopter hangar and aft-deck crane. Espen Oeino handled the exterior and layout design of the eight-stateroom yacht, which features a raised saloon known as ‘the loft’ that provides spectacular views.
