Ferretti Group’s participation at the second China International Consumer Products Expo featured the Riva 180th Anniversary VIP Reception, highlighted by the preview of the new Anniversario yacht and scale models of three new superyachts: the wallywhy200, Pershing GTX116 and Riva 50 Metri.

Represented by staff from Ferretti Group and local dealer Speedo Marine, the Group’s first participation at the Expo held the Riva 180th Anniversary VIP Reception cocktail at the public dock of Haikou National Sailing Center where VIPs included Haikou City officials, show organisers and industry partners.

The event included a screening of Riva: The Persuaders!, with David Beckham, Charles Leclerc and Pierfrancesco Favino starring in the action-packed, three-minute film inspired by the classic TV series, The Persuaders!

As the cocktail moved to its climax, the Anniversario – a yacht produced exclusively for Riva’s 180^th anniversary – was slowly unveiled on the huge screen. The yacht was launched to pay tribute to Riva Aquarama, its iconic predecessor launched in 1962.
