World premieres of the all-new S80 and S65 highlight an eight-vessel presence at the show.
The Princess Yachts S80 will debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September
Princess Yachts, the UK’s largest luxury yacht manufacturer, will showcase two world premieres at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival in September as part of an eight-yacht line-up – the first showing of two highly-anticipated S Class models, the all-new Princess S80 and S65 sports yachts.
The S Class series has broadened Princess’ appeal to a thrill-seeking audience searching for speed, fun, and excitement – but who refuse to compromise on comfort, space and flexibility. These yachts are about feeling connected to the water, bringing loved ones together and cruising in ultimate luxury and style.
Princess S80
The S80 completes the Princess 80ft trilogy, following the highly successful, award-winning X80 and Y80 models. She is also the flagship of the S Class sport-yacht range renowned for delivering the perfect blend of sportiness and luxury, epitomising the brand’s commitment to performance and style.
Elegant yet dynamic exterior lines provide a sleek profile and a powerful stance that belies the volume on board with spacious, open-plan layouts that integrate indoor and outdoor living areas.
Whilst she shares the same hull and lower accommodation layout as her 80ft siblings, that is where the similarities end. Her sleek profile and exterior styling are much more akin the beautiful S72, but it is her main deck that makes the S80 a completely different proposition.
The S80’s cockpit maximises outdoor space and on-water enjoyment
As you approach the S80, she is instantly recognisable from her distinctive central cockpit access. This whole area has been designed to maximise outdoor space and on-water enjoyment, with a garage to the port side capable of holding a 4.35m tender.
The cockpit extends further along the main deck to provide an incredible space for entertaining and relaxing. Twin sunpads (the largest ever seen on an S Class yacht) border the central access steps, whilst the configurable cockpit seating area with twin coffee tables is the perfect place to enjoy a sundowner.
Moving forward, a teak dining table to seat six to eight, (with optional extendable table) is positioned next to the galley bar, creating the perfect area to serve drinks. Sliding doors and a large opening window above the galley bar connect the exterior with interior to create a natural flow through the main deck where a further breakfast bar unit provides a more casual dining arrangement.

Light from the panoramic windows floods the saloon. A spacious C-shaped sofa sits opposite the port seating area, while the helm offers access to all on-board controls. A pantograph door gives the captain direct access from the starboard side deck through to the foredeck for easy mooring and communication.
Above, an optional sliding roof spans the width of the main deck, for air flow through the saloon. The foredeck terrace, a popular feature from the Y80, continues to adapt to owners’ lifestyles with two U-shaped seating areas plus a sun pad conversion.

The lower deck features four en-suite cabins with chilled water air conditioning and portholes for natural ventilation. The full-beam master stateroom has accents and finishes of natural timber. Soft lighting features accentuate curved forms of the hand-crafted furniture.
The aft lazarette and two-berth crew cabin with separate bathroom are situated aft of the machinery space. A watertight door from the electro-hydraulic bathing platform gives direct access to this area.
Measuring 28.7sqm, the S80s sports-bridge has a barbecue and wet bar
The 28.7sqm sports-bridge is yet another impressive outdoor living space with multiple seating areas and wet bar, with barbecue and refrigeration. A dining table and an outdoor TV are also available.
Equipped with MAN V12 1900 or 2000hp engines providing speeds up to 34 knots, plus an optional 7,000-litre fuel tank to enable an extended cruising range, the S80 is optimised for greater efficiency using conventional straight shaft drives delivering easy close-quarters manoeuvring and sure-footed performance. Both vector fin and gyro stabilisation options are available.

The Princess S65 also follows the distinct S class personality. Both new S Class models are designed by the in-house Princess Design Studio in collaboration with naval architects Olesinski and Italian design house Pininfarina, and feature a sleek exterior that gives it a powerful., sporty stance.
So much so that it almost completely hides the large sports-bridge above. There is a large sunroof which, when opened, fills the saloon and lower helm with light and air for those open boating, ‘wind in the hair’ moments.

The ‘life outdoors’ theme continues into the flexible cockpit that inspires relaxation with a large sun pad aft, stretching over the garage that is capable of housing a 3.3m tender. Forward is the U-shaped seating and dining area with a folding teak table.
The cockpit countertop to port connects to the galley that is separated by an upswinging door which, when open, seamlessly connects the inside with the outside.
The teak table on the sports-bridge can transform into a large sun bed
Elegant teak stairs are positioned to port leading to the spacious sportsbridge deck on which owners can experience the S65’s immaculate handling and comfortable ride with unbroken views of the horizon. The sports-bridge helm station features twin helm seats.
To starboard is a large U-shaped seating area with storage below and a teak-double-fold dining table that can be transformed to create an additional large sunbed
Inside, the saloon offers a tranquil and versatile environment to kick back and relax, featuring sofa, coffee table, sideboard unit, and a generous amount of storage.
Looking forward, the dinette features an L-shaped sofa with folding dining table while aft, the well-equipped open-plan galley seamlessly connects to the saloon, featuring a full-height fridge/freezer and twin sinks.
Equipped with twin MAN V8 1200 or V12 1400 engines, giving a maximum speed of up to 36 knots she also delivers the exhilaration expected from the sporty S Class models.
Both new S Class models will be part of an eight-yacht Princess display at Jetee 114 Vieux Port during the Cannes Yachting Festival in September. More details about the full Princess line-up will be announced soon.
