Named Double O Seven, the first Prestige M8 in Asia-Pacific has been handed over to her new owner in Phuket.
Asia Yachting hosted the Prestige M8’s Thailand debut as part of the Prestige M-Line Thailand Premiere & Yacht Showcase, which featured a display of six yachts from four brands at Royal Phuket Marina.
During last weekend’s event, the dealership hosted the owner handover and christening ceremony for the Prestige M8, which is named Double O Seven. The 65ft multihull motoryacht had arrived from Hong Kong, where it had its Asia-Pacific premiere and was bought by the current owner before being relocated to Phuket.
Prestige’s flagship multihull is penned by Italian studio Garroni Design, with naval architecture by Marc Lombard Yacht Design Group. Powered by twin Volvo engines, the M8 can reach a top speed of 19 knots and cruises comfortably at around 12.5 knots.
The flybridge yacht offers 270sqm of living space and can host up to 10 guests in five cabins including a 30sqm, full-beam owner’s suite. Spacious outdoor zones include a 50sqm flybridge as well as a huge cockpit overlooking a wide beach club, benefiting from the yacht’s 29ft beam.
The M8 was not the only Prestige model on display at Royal Phuket Marina. The M48 multihull motoryacht, which was berthed beside her big sister, and the X60 monohull both generated strong interest from visitors.
Nadezhda Lutsenko, a Thailand-based Yacht Broker for Asia Yachting, said: “This premiere was a fantastic opportunity to introduce the revolutionary Prestige M-Line directly to the Thai and regional market.”
A Galeon 640 Fly, MCY 70 Skylounge and Nautique GS22 wakeboat also featured at the weekend event.
