Pershing celebrates 40th anniversary in Capri

A selection of Pershing’s X and GTX models and F1 driver George Russell were among the star attractions at the spectacular three-day event.
Pershing celebrated its 40th anniversary since its founding in Mondolfo with a three-day event in Capri featuring adventures aboard Pershing yachts and elegant evenings at renowned restaurants on the island and along the coast.
Set against the spectacular backdrop of Capri’s majestic Faraglioni rock formations and the clear waters of the Gulf of Naples, the event was endorsed by the Municipality of Capri and featured a lively gathering of Pershing yacht owners including Formula 1 driver George Russell, who recently became the owner of a 6X.
The event opened with the presentation of the new GTX70 and a spectacular light show featuring 300 drones, which guests were able to admire from La Canzone del Mare restaurant, where guest star Gianluigi Lembo of the band Anema e Core gave a live performance.
The following day, guests had lunch in Nerano, at Antonio Mellino’s famous Quattro Passi. In the evening, there were two dinner venues in Capri: the historic Il Riccio, and a-Ma-Re Capri, chef Franco Pepe’s signature pizzeria and seafront restaurant.
During the days, Pershing owners took to the turquoise waters around Capri, offering a breathtaking spectacle featuring 6Xs, 7Xs and 8Xs alongside the GTX116 and GTX70 from the Sport Utility Yachts range. Event partners included Flexjet, Marchesi Antinori, Murphy&Nye and Seabob.
